Dad is not able to join my world because its full, can i move to a world he can chose?

So i've been in dragonbrand since the day the game released, and never really had a reason to change, but my father has just purchased PoF and i would like to be in the same world as him. Since dragonbrand is full, is my only option to pay to move my characters?

You can purchase Gems to move, you can exchange Gold-to-Gems to move, or you can delete all your characters and move at no cost. (Be aware that if you created demo characters in the recent PoF demos/stress tests, there may be a delay in changing servers, if the delete-all-characters option is chosen.)

 

Note: Being on the same server is only necessary to play WvW together permanently. Servers have no impact on PvE or PvP.

I was able to move from Dragonbrand to Devona's Rest for free this week, don't know if that option is still there.
