Guild wars2 pvp is such a mess. Without bias towards any class: every class has something that carries the player, either that be passives, massive spammable condi dmg, unlimited condi clear, 1 skill that does 3 or more things, instant cast skills on low cds, 1 shot dmg skills.. etc... everything needs a tone down. Right now every skill feels like an elite skill or something. The majority of the amulets are high damage stats that magnify the issues we see evertime we play gw2 spvp.

Edit: not just skills; traits, amulets, sigils, and runes need to be toned down too.

I fully agree that better communication would do wonders and that we should have had a better set of changes from the "beta" to release of "PoF".

Right now we have a ton of insanely overpowered stuff (promoting very high reward at low / no risk) and many bugs and exploits that are being used.

That being said, I would actually appreciate a faster paced balance changes rather than communication of what is to come.

The reason being that just saying "we are looking into X and will adjust by Y" generates panic and outrage of those that play it and think it doesn't "outperform" isn't OP but is what it should be (many don't take a look at the general of the game, just want their bigger stick).

Plus - if the patch comes out with just that change, then people will cry out in frustration going "you had that done since [date of post] and you literally did nothing about [insert other problem], do you actually work?"

Faster / more frequent patches can help people to see progress every now and then, allows for more tweaks and the expectation that if it wasn't on this one, then a few weeks from now you will get your fix.

Im sure we would all appreciate fast balance changes... however that has never happened and requires alot more time, rather than just talking to their customers with bits of information about what they are working on. Why has anet been known for being secretive about everything... many of us dont know.

yeah lots of changes we didn't ask for like taking away all of our Guild bonuses and making us pay gold to regrind them, adding PvE elements and shit like iron hide + banners + air bombs. Don't forget the votes for repair hammers and deployable siege.

"hey we want to listen to your feedback, vote for whether you want a fist up your ass or do you want to get punched in the face?"

adding an actual GvG support and bringing back tournaments would be a good start. And reining in Condis.

The new squad system was a good QoL change but does very little to improve the game mode as a whole.
