Cannot delete character

I create character, dont like it, I want to recreate it but I cant delete it, whats wrong? I want to use same name

[Inculpatus cedo.9234]

Does the character's name have a lowercase l (ell) for the first letter? If so, it's really an uppercase I (eye).

Accented letters?

Tried copy/pasting the name?

Edit: Also, there were some server issues a bit ago, so it might have been/be that. In that case, you'd just have to wait if it wasn't already remedied.
