As a soulbeast, do you miss always having your pet?

to have the pets out in soulbeast should be a choice not an obligation. Right now it does not feel good to be forced to unmerge to be able to swap and get the most from the soulbeast mechanics or in other words, to access to the healing pet when i needed or to swap to dps when i dont.

I didn't use druid all that much but I use ranger a lot now because of soulbeast.

Sorry but I kind forget I have the pet out at times. I am reminded that it does attack when I do when i am not merged, so then at times I running about or doing something then I am randomly thrown into combat and wondering "wait, why am I combat, I didn't hit anything?" and then see the pet attacking something randomly in the distance.

 

I know you can put it on passive to do nothing, but i'd rather have it on attack,

It's nice to have to the pet, but with soulbeast I find that you have more advantages with being merged with the pet most of the time.

I only really use my pet as a distraction to bait things.
