I TOO wish they would communicate as the problems I have run into (2 more bugs) could have been easily prevented with just a tiny bit of communication. They have the Launcher and could put a link to this thread and list all bugs found so far so people know what to avoid. But it is what it is. Try to just be patient and if you find any new bugs just type in game chat **/bug** and submit it. **BUGS I have come across so far** 1. **Glyph of Elemental Harmony is Disabled** but does NOT tell you by an X across it or anything but you find out while dying in battle. Nice ... Really makes for a happy player. 2. Doing **human story everyone should choose ORPHANAGE** only at this time. Where you choose between helping the orphanage or the hospital, if you choose the hospital you cannot complete it as when you bust down the door to save the people .. the door is actually still there but blocking the way in. Since the game sees the door as still closed you can't even shoot an attack in there so thus the only thing you can do it log out of that character and go back in or wait til a patch comes out finally.. since you cannot opt to do the orphanage after realizing this as you already told Thackeray that you choose the Hospital. (If only you were told before hand right??) (UPDATE: It can be done if you have a ranger pet with you. Send the pet in to clear it out as you cannot go in. Ty Leoc Wals for helping me with this). 3. **Some dailies do not toggle on** (this was noticeable in the dailies before reset for low level players and people who do not have either expansion. I do not know if today also has that certain issue). 4. (I know there are a lot more but these are just the few I -- or others who use my computer to play as well on their accounts -- have come across. Guess I am relatively lucky). **To Anet** There are things that Anet can do to communicate to people so they would not be so mad. Yes bugs happen. After 5 years of playing I am well aware that bugs **ALWAYS** happen with every new thing that is introduced to this game. EVERY time. But communication goes a LONG way at keeping your player base from being excessively pissed-off rage quitters. **To Players** By post raging it is not constructive and not helping. They are working on it. **Remember they first have to find a fix, test the fix, and then implement the fix.** My post is listing things as I am unaware if they are yet aware of these particular issues (well I am sure they know about the Glyph as I assume it is intentionally disabled til what ever was the problem was fixed, but I put that more for people who don't know to not use that heal skill yet). Ideally it would be nice to have a list of bugs we find and then Anet check off what has been fixed and any new bugs we find we compare with the list to see if it was already reported or not. The closest I can find is this: https://help.guildwars2.com/hc/en-us/articles/231272908-Known-Issue-Tracker but it has not been updated for over a month now. .. Try to be patient people as they will patch each problem as they find out how to resolve each thing. Maybe it is a good time to do laundry, or dishes, or go for a walk or bike ride or talking to the family or do some good will in the neighbourhood you live in. Going a day without the game is just like if the power went out in your home. Yes you would be pissed but it really is **NOT the end of the world.** --- Side note: TP - is it okay to use again? The Gem Store barely launches, I have to open-close it 3 times and click everywhere so it magically unlocks, even then I can't buy anything. It sometimes says that there's a connection issue but I don't have any connection issue, so I'm kind of lost here (and afraid of buying anything -even if time-limited- because I had the problem where you try to buy a thing multiple times and it suddenly charges you all the times you tried to buy it. At least people is able to log in even if they lag out ingame. Please fix your EU servers. I didn't pay 80e less than a month ago for this. Let alone the complete lack of customer support. This is not for everyone, but for those who feel comfortable, edit by adding the following command: *-log* to the end of your command line. Then look here for your log: * Windows: %APPDATA%\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.log. * macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Guild Wars 2/p_drive/User/Application Data/Guild Wars 2/Gw2.log Once you have that, please post the log here so our tech folks can take a look. If you are having issues logging into the game, please also run the game with "-diag" argument and again post the output here. e.g. open a command prompt, go to where GW2 is installed and run "Gw2-64.exe -diag" There is no need to run this test if you are having other issues such as TP or gemstore timeouts. tigirius.9014 Posted October 4, 2017 Share Posted October 4, 2017 Game is laggy everyday no matter which map since last patch. No one is around typically when this happens so it's not related to the number of players. Problems even exist loading windows such as the guild/hero panels for anything. Game hangs while loading screens in old world areas such as Orr. Game cannot seem to catchup when using mounts the speed of movement and the drawing of objects are in conflict even on the lowest settings which I've not had trouble with with the new expansion launched but started after this last patch. Lag is so bad that it's easy to get downed while fighting mobs because you can't tell what's happening to defend yourself. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Sardeth Wynn.9548 Posted October 5, 2017 Share Posted October 5, 2017 So in my inventory, I have an Ascended Zintl Inscription, A Vision Crystal, A Spirit wood short bow stave and an Elonian String, checked the Crafting databases, https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Zintl_Short_Bow None of it shows up in Discovery panel did you remove this short bow from the game or is it a bug?
