did the garden plots (or gathering) change?

The plots in rats, I have only the flowers for the boosts planted and theose are the only item that once harvested will not let you stand in one spot and harvest another, it goes into "must have a seed pouch blahs blah" no other plant in the plot does that. Annoying as all hell.
