1. i login, i see the character list, settings, lfg and contacts icon, i change my status to offline at that point, click my toon, my toon appears and in the chat it displays in green your status is changed to offline. will my friends see that display, too?

2. i noticed have followers on my list. how do i remove them?

1. As I understand it, they see you as online when you arrive at the character select screen, and will get a message saying you're online. Then they'll get the message that you've gone offline when you change your status.

Only if your friends are following you.

Of course, no one will see anything if you log in as Invisible.

You can block followers, and their name will move to the Blocked list. That's about it. Or...ask them to remove you.
