gulrok.1826
Many South Africans , Mauritians and more countries in the indian ocean find it tough to play on 300/280 ping...compared to the ones around 40 to 80 , i think Anet should make this as a next priority...it will attract more players ,improve gameplays and South Africa/Mauritius are strategic places that can allow many countries to connect on the server with a guaranteed ping of under 120. Therefore please try to help us Anet ...we love GW2 <
Inculpatus cedo.9234
Do you believe there are enough players to populate 6 servers for WvW? If not, you will be matched up against the same exact servers each and every time. Or even enough to populate all maps? Remember, with each data center, the players can _only_ play with others in the same data center. I'm guessing that ArenaNet does not find splitting the playerbase even more to be beneficial for the game. Regardless, good luck.
Yamazuki.6073
There would have to be enough people within those regions to justify it. Africa and the Middle East are such extremely small markets for games that they actually get lumped into Europe for most charts, and even when being lumped with Europe, the US and Chinese markets are still bigger. Also consider ArenaNet swapped servers for NA after PoF, the locations moved east, this means anyone on the Western end of NA don't get to to play with sub 100-120 ping anymore. If they cut costs for NA, it's pretty unlikely they'll want to spend money expanding into even smaller markets.
