I would suggest Unholy Martyr for this. The trait needs a buff anyway and changing it from consuming conditions to converting them would turn absorbed chill into resistance.

Necro should have ALLOT of missing things from skill or traits....

 

But who care about necros ? lets design 15+ extra abilities to eles instead with every expansion its not like they already can do EVERYTHING and have EVERYTHING at this point....... Blocks and Immunes for necros that were designed for face tanking ? WHO CARES ! Mobility ? naaaaah..... Reliable ammount of stability ? pfffffff......... Resistance ?! whats that ?.....

I mean I know you will probably say it doesn't count but through Scourge, Necro can get resistance from f2 (via chill) or from corrupting/removing resistance from enemies with the Feed from Corruption trait.

tbh all of death magic, a few traits in SR, and some blood magic traits really need some work, so there's definitely space to make up some new stuff involving resistance.
