juno.1840
My GW2 client has been crashing like crazy -- five times an hour at the worst. I've updated my graphics drivers, swapped out GPU hardware, performed a /repair of the GW2 install, used 32-bit and 64-bit clients, etc. Out of desperation, I examined the windows system logs and noticed that one RuntimeBroker instance happens to be failing at the same time GW2 is crashing. After a bit of research, it appears the the permissions for the runtime broker instance didn't allow my User access. I modified this one instance and I haven't had a GW2 crash since (although I've only played for a few hours). However I also ran CC cleaner and received the latest windows 10 feature update. All of these things coincide with the "no crashes in a few hours". I have eight RuntimeBroker.exe instances running after starting GW2, so I believe this was the cause. Anyone have any experience here that can elaborate on this?
