circuitnerd.5863
Now that you've released Tyrian time, do you think you could fix the sun and moon? They don't function properly. If you watch the sun, it rises in the south, goes to the middle of the sky, stays there for awhile, then sets back down in the south. Like...what? perilisk.1874
How do you know that isn't how things work in Tyria?
NanoEliteSixSixSix.8935
Uh-oh, looks like the simulatuon is starting to fall apart...
Dante.1508
Uhh we aren't on earth.. So its fine. Yes i know thats not how planets work.
XenoSpyro.1780
No, it's fine. we don't have an actual night-time anyway. Just another dumb blue filter.
Ol Nik.2518
Tyria is flat. It rotates around its axis (perpendicular to its plane). Or maybe it swings like a pendulum... that would explain Sun movement just fine.
XatraZaytrax.2601
While you're at it Anet, fix the weather. It is getting cold and snowy where I live.

Yes, why I was overjoyed when I could finally have Tyria time on my minimap. There is not much difference light-wise between midnight and noon. What I found strange was the people complaining they needed to show local time on it. What modern human is not surrounded by several things saying/showing the time when they sit down to play a game? As to server time? All you need in most cases is reset and that changes, what, twice a year if you mark DST?

All you need in most cases is reset and that changes, what, twice a year if you mark DST? If I don't have local time on my screen I would literally play all night. I need that reminder on screen nagging me at the corner of my eye. If it is off screen I would ignore it.
Ryukai.6524
The skies in wow work the same silly way too :P Maybe they are in the same 'universe' so follow the same weird 'physics' just different galaxies :P

It's not like we don't have the tools to navigate dark places (torches, aoe range indicators, our characters radioactive hair dye...)
Crab Fear.1624
It's fine. Let me explain what's going on. It just so happens that the galactic kappa that carries Tyria on it's back likes to twit from side to side as it floats through the cosmos. Tryia is flat, I googled it. When the map pops up, it has four corners.

I 100% agree, I was just joking. ;) I wouldn't mind more places like that one pitch black part of the LA pirate dungeon jumping puzzle (Weyandt's Revenge). :)
