There are so many places in wvw (mainly in the desert) where u shoot with the catapult and the stone just despawns right before the impact. Thats just cheap. LetoII.3782 Posted October 20, 2019 Share Posted October 20, 2019 They also have a limited flight time. As in, if the rock drops much below the original altitude of the catapult it vanishes. There's a few spots on every map this is inconvenient. Do I think it demands dev time though? Not if it isn't a quickie. The game needs big things, not janitor work. These game engines don't handle verticality well, it's one flaw in the design of dbl. The catapult and treb attack were designed on flat ground, nobody thought to program shot to keep falling until it hit the ground so it's ballistic arc simply ends at Max range.
