ZorkroZ.3514 Posted October 11, 2017 Share Posted October 11, 2017 I remarked today that GW2 is using 100% of my CPU all the time (even in the launcher). I do not think it is normal, as deactivating the addons (like dps meter who can be cpu consuming) or setting the game to the lowest graphic settings do not change anything. My CPU is an i7-7700k. There is no problem of performance ingame, and I can multibox without feeling a difference, but I'd like to lesser the useless strain on the CPU if possible. ZorkroZ.3514 Posted October 14, 2017 Author Share Posted October 14, 2017 No, just checked again everything seems fine. edit: It appears to be a Mobo driver problem, in the task manager details I have the system idle process taking 70% of CPU, but somehow in the main display this usage is added to gw2's.
