Since I started playing last year summer, I have gotten 500 artificer and leather work. Crafted full ascended set (weapons + jewelries) for my druid main. Leveled another alt to 80. Increased my PvP rank. Got the Mawdrey backpack. Completed my first raids and 50+ fractals.

In 2020, I wish to become of the best pve druid player and the best dead eye PvPer in gw2.

 

After finish reading this, post your achievement for year 2019 and what you wish to achievement for 2020.

Tasks of 2019

- ~~Forge 2x Rurik's Engagement Ring~~

- ~~Complete all remaining useful WvW blueprint-upgrades for the guildhall~~

- Do the remaining two Objective Aura Upgrades for the guildhall/WvW

- Finish the 2nd piece of Legendary armor (not possible)

- ~~Collect 10 stacks of Wintersday Presents for xmas~~

- ~~Obtain Khadiri's Music Box for xmas~~

- ~~Collect 40 Cobs of Candycorn for xmas~~

- ~~Collect the remaining xmas presents~~

- ~~Make a realistic DMC Dante cosplay~~

- Break my personal record in Winter Wonderland (14)

- ~~Run a T4 fractal~~

- Finish the GW2 Dungeon Master, Arah Jotun path missing for 6+ years

- Find a volunteer who can/will do the MotD when I am busy

- Sell/Gift that additional guildbank I made at the beginning of the year.

- ~~Skyscale~~

- ~~Finish all Raven Masteries without continuing the story beyond the map-unlock~~

- ~~Chef 500~~

- ~~Find another apprentice (had two, both quit the game shortly after reaching endgame :S)~~

- Find like-minded people to investigate a couple of theories

- ~~Obtain the forged glider (hoverboard); Thanks for adding it to the statuette vendor recently!~~

- Run Strike Missions

- Run the Lair of the Snowmen

- Lair of Zommoros, unlock the last armor-piece

 

 

Tasks of 2020

- Finish the GW2 Dungeon Master, Arah Jotun path

- Finish more pieces of the Legendary armor

- Creating another puzzle in the guildhall

- Solving a few mysteries

- Revisiting the Obsidian Sanctum

- Rata Sum Portal Scroll

- Transfer to Desolation

- Find like-minded people to investigate a couple of theories

- Run Strike Missions

- Lair of Zommoros, unlock the last armor piece

- Optimize a couple of builds (e. g. Dante-Build, Mesmer, Thief, Scrapper)

 

I will not run out of tasks any time soon. Some of the tasks are about to be completed, while others have to be postponed to 2020 or even later. I doubt I will ever run the Jotun Path of Arah before I quit GW2. There are obviously phases I feel like there is nothing for me to do, but those go away. That is what breaks are for. I am happy the game allows us to have breaks whenever we want and extend them without fearing to miss anything important.

I dont think its ambitious. If I could finish a full ascended set while make over 1k gold in a year playing casually, I could accomplish much more playing more serious.
