Proxy.2308 Posted January 4, 2020 Share Posted January 4, 2020 How exactly do you buy a mount in-game? I enter the store (press "O") and there are some mounts in there. But there's something like "adoption licenses" - so what exactly do they do? And besides they have like 3 kinds of prices in gems... So , e.g. the Mistborn Mount Adoption License has got "400 gems", then there is "5/1800 gems" and finally "15/5100" gems... What do these numbers mean? How exactly am I supposed to become a ***permanent*** owner of a mount. I don't want to hire one or lease one for 5 days, or borrow one, or anything like that... I want to OWN one for eternity! Acquiring the mounts themselves are through playing the Path of Fire story. Raptor is in the first chapter, so easy to get. Springer is next, then Skimmer. Jackal isn't a story quest, but obtainable in The Desolation. Griffon is only available after you complete POF. That one is pricey - 250g. Skyscale quest starts after you complete the final Living World Season 4 chapter, War Eternal. That one is cheaper, depending on what you make yourself or buy, but it is an extensive collection. Most mount packages in the 400 for 1, 5 for 1800, and 15 for/5100 gems are random unlocks of the skins in that pack. So for most mount skins packages you usually get 15 different skins. So if you purchase the 15 for 5100 you will get all the skins since the mount unlocks from that package do not repeat.
