It doesn't have to show nothing.I have 3 different computers in my room,and all of them working perfectly fine by playing other online games. Many players are having issue when their route to the GW2 servers uses the Tier 1 Backbone, Level 3. Some have had relief using a VPN. Ymmv. Good luck.
