    > To add to that, the Reward tracks are actually quite valuable for players who value Mystic Clovers. Each will reward 14 Mystic Clovers each (that's 28 Mystic Clovers total for finishing both the pvp and wvw track). That's double what you usually get for completing a unique reward track. As well as 3 Stormcaller weapons each, which will cut down on the crafting resources needed to craft the collection.

You’d be right if the track was repeatable. I just can’t see the reasoning behind creating these tracks as not repeatable imo.

  2. > So ... because I'm active on the forums, checking it regularly and because I had (bad) experience with such things, I decided to stay off the game and give the people working on the issue less problems

So much this. I check the forums, Reddit, and also decided it was pointless to log in and sucked it up to not log in to the game, and played another game. I also keep guildwars2 twitter on notifications, for any updates to when I could safely log in. But will get less compensation of a lost day than someone who logged in for even just a second.

I will say this again, not being able to log in for a day is still a day of progression lost. Especially as a festival was active.

Sure I didn't do my dailies, but there are those who did their dailies and lost them. They deserve more than those who didn't log in at all

    > > Players who didn't log in because they thought that losing 2 gold and some spirit shards and a day of daily login reward was better than risking damage to their account now are being faced with a reality in which they would have still missed those 2 gold, a bag of spirit shards and a daily login reward but in exchange get for a free mount skin. So like it or not, they will feel like they are being punished for doing what they believe was right.

    >

    > Well no one has been punished. People got compensation for having progress taken away - many of which were unaware of the issues at the time. Those who didn't log in lost nothing apart from potential. Potential losses and actual losses are not equal in this case.

    >

    > If Anet gives the mount to everyone, then those who lost progress still are no better off. And we are right back to square one.

    >

    > Sadly for the rest you are right. It is unfortunate players just see the reward and not the reasoning, but human nature is what it is. Doesn’t necs mean Anet should pander to it though

Then why give a wonky compensation if they don't have to? Like I don't really care if we're compensated for the down time, but giving some players (who didn't notice a fault in the game, and a small minortity possibly choosing this time to see if they could dupe items too) a free mount skin, and the rest who noticed the game fault *and didn't log in to prevent any damage to their accounts* a single use bonfire is so majorly off it's insulting.

I'd rather Anet just gave everyone a bonfire if they want to provide a small gesture of the downtime and leave it at that.

Edit to add: Not being able to play a day is also taking away progression, just saying.

NA never experienced these issues Eu has had over the last couple of days... NA never had the rollback on the 11th. Thanks for the input though.

    Yes.

    > Oh, yes there is. The cost is very low to stat-change. The cost is only the same inscription or insignia you need to craft it, 5 ecto and 10 spirit shards. That's peanuts compared to the full crafting cost.

That's ok, I'll do the research for you.

    Nadijeh's (Marshall stat) costs around, Light - 265g / Medium -286g /Heavy - 252g for a full set.

**The stat you want** The Twin's (Greiving) costs around, 242g / 266g / 234g for a full set.

Thackeray's Seraph stats are minutely cheaper than The Twin's, but only by ~25s per piece, you may aswell just craft The Twin's directly.

    You do you though.

  7. Most stat selectable items, exotic or Ascended, will give you the option of choosing Trailblazers stats.

For Exotic, the easiest way is probably Verdant Brink T4 for the chest then buy the rest of the armor for tokens. There’s also the Desert Armor Boxes, Legacy armor and Triumphant/Glorious armor from WvW/PvP reward tracks,

For Ascended, you’re options include, but aren’t limited to, Fractal vendor, WvW, PvP, Strike Mission (vendor in Eye of the North), and good ol’ crafting.

The City of Hope story mission awards a choice between 3 Auric weapons...

OP, if you want an Auric Greatsword, you have to either craft it yourself (buy the recipe from Auric Vendor) or be awarded it from City of Hope story mission (Heart of Thorns: Chapter 8, Mesmer, specifically, gets to choose Greatsword)
