  1. **Construction** We already collect lots of materials that have dual purposes, which could also be used in construction. I imagine the craft would primarily be used in our Home Instance. I'm sure the devs could come up with any number of items, that we could use there, e.g., an interactive bookcase, one we can actually store books in, or an interactive display case to store trophies.
  2. I realize that they are kept very busy with more pressing issues, so it's a long shot, but maybe a request put in with [CS](http://support.guildwars2.com/) would get you that info.
  3. Just in case this helps re: payment method, DLGamer is an ArenaNet approved sales affiliate & Path of Fire can be securely purchased with them. Also, the Guild Wars wiki is a fantastic resource & can be accessed from within the game by typing in chat: /wiki followed by whatever subject, item etc. you're interested in. For example, if you typed /wiki mount or mounts this page would pop open: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mount For the Xmas races btw, I run them on foot as well & get lots of karma & gifts that way too. : )
  4. I have no idea if this is the reason, but I'm just wondering about why you received an invite & your wife didn't. Did you delete the character, or characters on your account & start over fresh vs your wife who kept hers? I'm thinking that because the invitations are account bound, that as long as there is an existing character who previously received the invite, then the system "remembers" that, so no new invite for that account.
  5. If you've already participated in the six annual festivals, then you most likely have the universal [invitation to the Party](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Invitation_to_the_Party) stored in your bank, or maybe you left it on the character active when you completed that achievement. I had totally forgotten about that universal Invitation... :expressionless: until this festival, when I didn't receive the invite as well. Luckily, I had stored it in the bank. :relaxed:
  6. > @"kharmin.7683" said: > Why stop at 32? Why not make all bags shared? Give them 100 slots. Heck, give 'em 1000 slots! Or just expand the account bank to an infinite number of slots and make it accessible from anywhere. /duly chastised. :/ I should make more of an effort to set out from LA or some other home base, to make sure that the character I'm using is properly kitted out before setting off. It will encourage, afford an opportunity to interact more with other players while I'm there, vs being self-reliant to the point of feeling like I'm playing a solo game. I'm going to need more bank space though. :#
  7. When they were on sale recently, I bought 5 thinking I'd be happy with a total of 7... They make such a difference while playing, makes it so much easier & enjoyable. I really regret not buying more at the time & I'll definitely be buying more the next time I see them on sale, hopefully soon & more often.

To clarify, there is a one-week gap between the conclusion of the Crystal Bloom event and the beginning of the next event. The next event, mobilizing the Ebon Vanguard, will begin on December 1. If you haven't received your rewards from the Crystal Bloom yet, be sure to collect them from their representative in Eye of the North before December 1. The Ebon Vanguard is the only other faction event for this release. There will be more faction updates with the next release, arriving after the Wintersdsay festival sometime in the new year. We will be communicating additional information on Faction Event timing in the coming weeks. > > > > > > > > > > Thanks for the clarification. > > > > > > > > > > I have to ask though, will anything from the crystal bloom event be missable? rewards, skins or achievements etc? > > > > > Will these faction events go into some kind of rotation at a later date so people will be able to complete them if they miss them the first time around? > > > > > > > > > > > > > You can buy every reward with tyrian defence marks. > > > > The achievements are tied to the drms not the faction, only thing the faction dailys did was give blue currency to advance the community goal bar. > > > > > > I'm pretty sure there is an achievement or two tied to each individual faction as well, that's why im curious. > > > I'm just wondering if people who don't complete it now will not be able to later. > > > I assume they will be I just wanted to be absolutely sure about it. > > > > For players who are progressing through the game content in chronological order, who have bought all of the expansions, all of the LWS episodes in between, is this content comparable to LW S1 in that it will no longer be available, so if you want to experience it, you have to do it on release? > > No as far as we can tell, only the global contribution events are time limited - ie the bonus tier rewards. The content itself will be permanent Thank you Randulf. o/

For players who are progressing through the game content in chronological order, who have bought all of the expansions, all of the LWS episodes in between, is this content comparable to LW S1 in that it will no longer be available, so if you want to experience it, you have to do it on release?
  10. Keeping in mind that there are a lot of humorous exchanges already in the game, as a niche Profession, I'd like to see the devs tackle the Bard, in the spirit of [The Bard's Tale.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bard%27s_Tale_(2004_video_game)) When you're sitting alone in front of your computer & a game can make you laugh out loud, that's a good game, which this game is, but I bet the GW2 creative team could bring that comedic element to a whole new level, with the addition of Bards.

While doing Map Completion in Mount Maelstrom, the experience bar filled & that message started its pop-up routine. I couldn't apply it to my current path, although I need 7 more points to complete that Advanced Logistics path. So I clicked into the next section, chose the first path in there & boom! the experience bar emptied & no more pop-ups. > > > > Are you saying that, had I just ignored / clicked away those pop-ups, gone on to another higher level map, that I could have applied that experience gain to my Advanced Logistics path? > > No. If you have completed the experience-gathering for an interim mastery on a given path, you can only advance to the next experience-gathering phase in that line by spending the point(s) needed to complete the mastery to which the filled experience bar applies. You can (as you saw) change to a different mastery line and gather experience in it, but eventually you will run out of mastery lines until you gather the necessary mastery point(s) to complete one. Thank you Indigo! I tried for the longest time last night, to get to the MP in the MM volcano area & finally gave up 12:30AM. I know the Wiki is fantastic for tips / tricks etc. & just now checked & sure enough, there is a ton of information, including tips to reach these Points' locations. I'm one of those players who likes to discover things on my own, if at all possible, so I haven't looked at the tips yet. But I may have to concede for this one!! :/
  12. @"Schimmi.6872" I just want to make sure that I understand how this works then, because last night the same thing happened to me, re: the pop-ups. In my case though, I only have 13 Masteries, with 1 Point earned towards the Advanced Logistics path, the last path in that section.
  13. @ Healix.5819 I'm not tech savvy at all, but would it help GrimReaper at all, if he was able to use a restore point, prior to the time he first started the latest game updates? How would he do that? And could he still play the game without the updates, or would he face constant prompts to update, or worse, would the launcher just start auto updating? I've never used / created a restore point so, have no idea how useful they are. Also, if this is a dumb idea, don't be shy to say so. :3
