  1. For me It's Guardian. I used to main Guardian back around the times of Scarlet's attack but ended up taking a break for a few years (having returned just before the release of PoF) and just wasn't able to wrap my head around the mechanics anymore. I love the Guardian because I love the Paladin/monk type classes in other games such as WoW and Final Fantasy, and since the Guardian seems to be the closest thing to a Paladin it just seemed like a natural fit.

    Name: Xykiris

    Profession: Reaper (Necromancer)

About: Xykiris is a Reaper blessed by Grenth. Once a Warrior of the Vigil, Xykiris dabbled in Necromancy after losing many of his comrades in battle. He used this power to enhance himself in combat as well as raise unnatural horrors to sick on his enemies. He slowly became more blood thirsty and was eventually thrown out of the Vigil. For years, he searched for strong opponents to quench his thirst for combat. That is, until he found out about the awakening of the Elder Dragons. Now he works along side the Orders, and people of Tyria, to take on the threat of the Elder Dragons, excited to test his strength against what he sees as, possibly the strongest being's in Tyria.

  3. I was wondering if there were others that did this lol. I have found my fair share of places while exploring Tyria as well. The place the OP posted was one of the first places I found and was (until recently) my favorite place. A lot of the maps don't seem to have anything crazy going on upon breaking out, however there are some great things in some maps.

    Some examples are:

The creepy place under the Silverwastes:

The Tower where you fight Mordremoth (then proceeded to climb it lol):

The place I like to call "The great black hole of Hoelbrak":

and my new favorite, The cliffs outside of The Grove (these are nice during the day, but night time is the best time to be there so you can fly among the stars):

I must admit. Finding places like this is always a lot of fun and quite interesting. :D

To be honest I am amazed also given what I've read in the main thread.

  7. Wow this got busy fast lol.

I know what you mean. I am from the Northern Shiverpeaks server and am also a roamer. I usually play solo though because other games (mainly WoW) have turned me off of guilds seeing as there always seems to be drama. Due to that, I have avoided joining guilds in general and seeing this change, I have mixed feelings. On one hand, I'm glad that my friends and I will be able to play in WvW together, however I'm not to keen on the idea of joining a guild. I also feel like it may become more difficult roam depending on where I end up. :/

  8. Original discussion forum: https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/26547/world-restructuring#latest

As I'm sure a lot of you all know, Anet is currently considering making some changes to WvW in the form of Alliances. (For more information, see original forum)

While having a discussion forum is a great way to answer some questions and concerns, I can't help but wonder why they are not just using the poll system to just see how many players actually want this. They say that they may or may not implement this and that if they do, it wouldn't be for quite some time. This poll is simply being made to help simplify the ratio of For vs Against. Granted, this poll is more so going to represent the thoughts on what we currently know and therefore may change in the future as more info becomes available.

**This poll is anonymous** simply to avoid any players from being harassed about their answers and to also hopefully allow those that have an opinion that aren't really the vocal type, to weigh-in. :)

Feel free to continue discussing here if you so choose however it is probably best that if you have any concerns to go to the original thread where some of the Anet devs seem to be more responsive.

    >

    > The idea is that by pressing F1 you gain a "shroud" which is basically an unique selfish "boon" giving you access to all in shroud enhancement at the price of some life force per seconds. This shroud/aura/boon have the basic effect to give you an extra life siphon every 5 attacks (virtue of justice in a nutshell ;) ). When traited it passively grant you access to all kind of passive buff, including:

    > - extra crit chance: _Death perception_

    > - more damage: _blood lord_ (more procs on _reaper's might_, _unyielding blast_, _dhuumfire_), _Deadly strength_

    > - health regeneration: _unholy sanctuary_

    > - cleanse: _shroud removal_

    > - or damage mitigation: _Blood armor_, _armored shroud_

    >

    > This shroud/aura/boon let you use your basic skills including LF gen, it's important because the idea is that you are supposed to have the ability to offset the LF degen so that using it don't lock you totally out of the other shroud skills which are more "utilities" than anyhting else.

    >

    > It may be my fault that you didn't understood this since I named F1 _Bloodthirst aura_, while I could have replaced "aura" by the term "shroud".

    >

    > NB.: I think it's ok if we can "camp in" this form as long as you need to be in combat and actively attacking to be able to do it.

my mistake I must have missed that part lol I was tired when I read it. :P

  10. I love Vampiric classes, but I agree with Rhyse, Taking away Shroud probably isn't the best idea.

What I'd like to see would be something along the lines of:

    Death Shroud becomes Blood Frenzy.

Blood Frenzy: You assume a more feral form. While in this form, Movement speed is increased by 25% (does not stack), Damage received is decreased by 15%, and your Damage is increased by 20%. While in this form Life force drops Rapidly but is not affected by opponent's attacks, however each strike you hit with rewards you with a little bit more LF(enough to keep you going but not enough to allow to camp in).

These numbers can obviously be played around with so it isn't to broken but I like the idea of a vampire getting a rush from having just fed. :P

    That's Awesome! :D

  12. Best of luck getting a response. I had this problem twice and submitted bug reports BOTH times (the first being TWO WEEKS ago!) so far the best I've been able to do, is use a warrior, and use the shout that causes the enemies to get 10 stacks of Vulnerability. This will trigger the first few gang members to come after you. after that though, you have to hope that some NPC's or Logan goes in to grab Ted and Blaze. If they don't, then leave the instance and go back in again. but that is all I have been able to manage. :/

Edit: Nvm, Just saw the most recent comment.

    > Cheers!

As much as I doubt this is real I have to admit that I'd be all for most of these.

That being said, the one thing I wouldn't be to keen on would be the change of Death Spiral applying chill.

I would LOVE for it to be a leap attack. However replacing 12 stacks of Vulnerability, with 1 stack of chill doesn't seem like it would be worth it. If anything I'd replace Cripple on Nightfall with 2 seconds of Chill per pulse.
