The only change I would still like to see is using movement keys to get out of the kneel position.
I'm waiting to play for a while before deciding what other changes I would like to see.

Bad: Introducing underwater exploration/combat, but not expanding on it
Good: Not expanding on underwater exploration/combat
I think they had good intentions with adding the Z-dimension (jumping, flying, falling, swimming), but the swimming adventures never took off.

Until they bring in a new profession that uses a scythe, I don't see it happening.
I loved the Dervish, one of my go-to classes in GW1, and would play it in an instant if it were reintroduced.

I have **The Predator**and **Frostfang** and I think they are both great in terms of visuals.
I wish I could change **Frostfang** into **Flametongue** by reassigning the Ice rune with a Fire Rune.
**The Predator** just looks AWESOME as a rifle.
I wish I had the patience/skill/stuff to make **Nevermore**. I'm a huge fan of Edgar Allan Poe's works.

Congratulations! You win the "Beating a Dead Horse Award!"
This topic has been posted, studied, refuted, and talked about ever since GW1.
There are other threads related to this topic brought up when PoF was mentioned and mounts were added, but not additional playable races or new unique professions.
This isn't WoW for a reason. The two games do share many things in common, but I'll take the graphics of Guild Wars over the cartoony, hyper-exaggerated characters of WoW any day.
Even if they added a new race, if it wasn't the race you wanted would you be happy? Or if it would spawn another round of "you made that race, now bring in the race I want"?

Just got my blades and I thought it WAS a glider combo after crafting.
Boy, was I surprised.
-
I know it's not as simple as taking some of the brain-power away from designing new gliders and minis to this function, but it can't be too hard for a single account to save them.
Worry about trading build secrets later, just take the initial step of saving builds per account.

I use my Artificer to craft potions and that's about all.
Unless I'm using crafting to help level a character, I don't touch Scribe or Jeweler.
Sometimes it's fun to just go into your Chef and try to discover new stuff.

While I could always use heavier coin purses, messing with the "economy of the realm" is a tough thing to do without repercussions. (and I'm usually one of the first to jump on the "give the player what they want" bandwagon.)

Beat me to it.

Do you have skritt-DNA in your past?!?

What, there's a new expansion coming out?!? :p
I want to see new world bosses, some new armor/weapon skins, old friends from GW1 (in ghost-form), and a great dragon or three.
-
I also like the idea of floating cities. Maybe the flying mounts are the only ones available in the sky (unless the raptor can press the elevator button to the top).

Magic is a form of bound energy; energy is never lost, it only changes from one form to another.
I like the image of the summoned beings expending their remaining energy in a short AoE (given the damage type it dealt in combat) as a way of dissipation. If nothing else, an instance of blindness to attackers as it goes (super)nova or confusion as the enemy it was fighting merely disappears before its eyes.
Some things make good role-playing fights while others make for great adventure stories.

My only consideration would be if you were worried about number (or cost) of mats now vs. when PoF rolls out there will probably be swords you may rather build, but not have the mats on hand.
If that's not an issue, craft away.

What are the badges for on the discussion board?
Where is the list of available badges?
How do you earn them?
Do they affect any thing on the boards other than show who spends the more time here?
Does anyone really notice them anyway if they don't matter?

I would rather have a note pop up that says the WP is currently contested please choose another.
I can't open a WP that is known contested and be transported so why does the AI allow it in the short time between my left-click and the loading page?
-
Yes, I have goals.
-
I'll probably play the elite specs in core maps I know well to get the hang of the skills before venturing out into PoF.
-
I would only support it if they do major changes to the Black Lion Trading Post. Right now I believe the Gems are the way they gain money on a monthly basis.
If they were to start using subscription prices for money, would there be one price for all? or different prices for access to freebies each month?

I was thinking that GW1 allowed direct links to wiki pages.
It's not something that will cause me to quit playing the game. Just make things easier.
-
Any possibility of getting direct wiki links from in-game sources?
I know you can type /wiki to open the page and then search from there, but some things may not be easily found; recipes, achievement steps, player misspellings, etc.
I want to cut out the middle steps and go from the game to the page directly.
Is this too hard in the format that GW2 is in or not worth the time and effort to create the links.
Access to new Weapons
in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

What currently blocked weapon would you like to your "X" profession to have access to?
I'm not asking ANET to do anything like this, so stop typing about all the hassle in changing the profession's make-up/skills/traits or combat imbalance it would cause. I'm just asking you to have fun before PoS comes out and think of the current weapons, current professions/specializations, and what combinations you would (nearly) pay to have access to.
I would like to see what a rifle toting Ranger would be like, or a dagger/dagger Revenant, or a pistol/pistol Necromancer.
Even if I could run around in a separate location that has no effect on the PvE, WvW, or story-mode. (much like the beta weekends)
