  1. It has been my main since leaving wow during Pandaria. It may become a second given an injury and the time I had to play other games due to medical problems. There are a lot of positives to the game, no monthly sub and fairly simple abilities. Where I struggle is that it's feeling aged, and there are other games that have brought fun back to gaming. Also not enjoying the effect on hardware, seems to be pretty rough on my PC that can handle other titles quite easily with no problems.

  2. Originally turrets were great bunker down skills. You could rely on them when things got tough. Then Lake Dorrek META happened, engineer's bunker down was able to just sit there in the centaur camp and farm leather like crazy. Basically Anet nerfed the turrets, they're now meant to be used as disposable wares with none of their original flare or design intact. It would be nice to have them move or just be an extension of the engineer like a servo arm or the like. They get destroyed by a strong sneeze anymore.

  3. I find on warrior elite skills are generally trash. They feel as though their lacking the punch of what an elite skill should be. For instance Juggernaut, it completely takes away all your utility skills and survivability. Any time I've used it, would have been better to have the sigil. Banner is probably the only one of the elite skills that is reliably useful for solo content. Just curious if I'm the only one who feels this way about the state of warriors elite skills.

  4. It depends on the game mode, that said the one I find super useful in general is scourge minion master. I'm a rolling tank most of the time and can down most things with ease. Staff/ Scepter, torch. With Plaguebearer set it really shines, however for exotics it's easily usable with a shaman set. You can dish out damage and take it.

  5. Not sure why they give the special action one time and then don't give it at all on the (Valor Essence). I have yet to have it's special action ability proc once. Then there's masteries that won't proc against certain mobs at all? Champion Kodon max Valor and yet not one proc of the ability. Red one finally maxed yet it wouldn't proc at all either. Finally did on a couple shamans but never the champion.

It's not in the description so I have no idea why it's soo random with special action.

  6. Tab target can pick the closest mob, yet autotarget always picks the target out of range and farthest away? In the Labrynth when I'm surrounded by mobs it always picks the one out of range and out of sight. This wasn't how it worked three or four years ago can we please get a fix on this poorly performing part of the interface.

  7. In the newest LS the created mobs have either massive barrier (as large as half health of a Veteran mob) and healing Monk or Abyssal Specter multiple stacking AOE drops that rapidly stack Torment, Burning, and Confusion (the highest damage conditions no less than 4 stacks on initial hit). Add to this they have easily four to eight adds that are generated in the fight with varying degrees of above ability including knockdown, imob, and so on. Do you feel they are adequately scaled or overtuned to all professions, ie. Engineer, Ranger, and so on?

Sorry can't add questions and can't delete it, please can Anet remove this.

  8. I'm kind of confused, is your heart set on this one particular armor? Cause if not then there's tons of armor that is a full suit of armor for the females. Primeval is one for starters. Outside of Barbarian's or Norn cultural there is little heavy that is really bikini like. Arah is the only heavy dungeon armor that really is revealing. That said, if this is the set you have your heart set on, Asuran females get the males look of any heavy armor. Hopefully that helps.

  9. I would love for Anet to finally fix this, nothing more annoying than the mob your hitting doesn't tag up as your target. Instead it's something so far off you literally didn't know was there or it's on a different level. Either way it's completely out of range or unhittable. I would like for Anet to at least add that modifier to the targeting, that it has to be in striking range to auto target.

  10. No, that's how WOW became so oversaturated with screen spam. A game shouldn't require large amounts of addons to play. Healbot and deadlyboss basically meant you were on autopilot playing the game. It also forces others with slower systems to need the mods detracting from content their systems can handle. Lastly it really fuels elitism, and all that really does is further divide player base. No addons should be the goal, if you need them something with your gameplay has most likely gone wrong.

  11. They had a spider initially if you listened to the dev's talk about the mounts at the start of PoF. They found the spider aesthetics off-putting and it was more they didn't want to creep people out with them as mounts. That in no way means they can't come back with a spider in a LS like the beetle, though a gecko isn't a bad alternative. We already have jungle, so it wouldn't be out of bounds to go this route.

  12. Given the Unchained in Siren's Landing, it's dead. Zhaitan is like a lich, raising undead and disease to rule. The thing is killing the lich didn't kill the undead, it's more they have no one master to unite them. There is other forms of masters, like the knights and liches that already command hordes of them. They may have autonomy now that was lacking before, however they seem just as hostile to life now as they were under Zhaitan. What that means is the magic used to create them hasn't been lost, which means even though Elder Dragons die their magic and it's horrors are bound to the world. And since their magic just accumulates in those powerful enough to absorb it, there really is no way to end the threat of their powerful magics. Honestly that's exactly what I'd expect from a game that needs a continuing story. You can't reach resolution, and this is what Anet is doing. After the death of Mordremoth they changed direction. It's not kill the dragons save the world, it's how do you contain the magic without creating another threat.

  13. When you complete a lap on the wrap up it only shows your fastest time, this in no way is beneficial to trying to improve lap times if that number stays the same all the time. You won't know from lap to lap what is slower and faster without current lap time info. Please add a tab for last lap time to wrap up.

  14. First off, it's OK if you don't like minions. I personally have found them one of the most beneficial choices for most open world content. If you take a Healy Scourge and Minions you're going to have an amazing time. First off your support skill work on minions, this mean Might and Barriers for them. Second and most importantly they are hands down the best condi removal the Necro can grab. But why should I go on about it? Boots bad builds did this one and yes it's the easy button necro. It's trash for PVP, Fractals, and Raids, but that doesn't mean it's useless or in the case of open world or living world. To put it simple I can in Shaman's gear on a Scourge tear through content and with over 30K health there's very little I can't survive. I've taken this build into dungeons and soloed bosses. Basically with Death Magic is the strongest trait line at low level. And the necromancer really doesn't outgrow it until high level.

If I'm not running Minions it's a trait line I have no use for it. So yes I completely agree that it's trash from an overall view, but for beginners it's actually highly recommended and for open world since it's the most forgiving build they can play. My personal preference is the path of least resistance, so open world and living world minions is how I roll. You haven't really experienced Minions and what makes them fun, until you jump into a solo fight with a champ or legendary and walk away victorious. I soloed the Labyrinth Horror for fun this year. It was a crazy long fight, but I totally took it down. As for impossible tasks like soloing Metas, bouties, and world bosses, well I'm not in god mode so yeah it's bad news bears for me as well. I'm fine if they change the other traits to have better synergy with other builds since the one trick pony isn't a cure all and in end game does more to exclude you from content than to allow you to progress as a Necromancer.

  15. If you take Vampiric Presence in blood they also increase their self heal, heal you more, and increase life steal. As support scourge they do good damage and can cleanse conditions like there's no tomorrow. With traits in scourge you can give them might with barrier and also cleanse conditions off them. They are very strong with a healy scourge.

  16. By chapter 4 in LS3 there is enough choose your stat trinkets and backpacks, you can reasonably farm the HoT stats for multiple toons. As for this living story we've only gotten a backpack that requires 500 shards not including the other costs to repeat build. Then from Sandswept Isle one ring and earring. That means in order to get the sets one would need to do Fractals or PVP The only set you can complete of PoF stats is Plaguedoctor. This is very poor system of reward, compare this to Bitterfrost where within a few days I can get a backpack, ring, and earring of any stat except PoF specifics. The map currency in new maps is too spread out and doesn't reward playing in the new maps.
