    Armor rating in this game isn't really a thing like WoW (to the point there might as well not even be numbers on it) and we already have toughness ignoring damage in the form of conditions, so what would be the need for it in this game?

  2. I remember when 5-mans were the boogeyman that was just standing in the way of people reaching the ranks they feel they should be at.

     

    Now all the seasons later, in their minds, it's duo queues messing all that up.

     

    Anet should go ahead and remove it just for the sheer amusement of seeing what the next excuse players come up with on why they're just not at the ranks they should be at.

    I questioned that repeatedly and never got an answer.

     

    No game I've ever played that had a ranked PvP mode ever dropped an xpac or major overhaul before a season ended. They always timed out the start of a new season around it.

     

    What major malfunction in Anet thought that not doing the same would be a good idea?

    This was something that made zero sense to me.

     

    Nearly any other game that is PvP based (be it an MMO or MOBA) usually has a brand new season when an XPAC or major features get changed.

     

    In the end though, I was fed up with PvP long before this point, so I decided to stop playing and cancelled my pre-order of PoF.

     

    I'll keep checking back to see if Anet makes any positive changes that the majority of community thinks is beneficial to PvP (because as the old saying goes you can't make all the people happy all the time), but after the last year plus I don't have any hopes of that...

  7. Gold is a mixed bag of...well I don't know what exactly to call it.

     

    I guess it's people a little more mechanically sound than bronze/silver, but there are so many basics I've seen people in Gold just not do such as being on a team with multiple people that can grant swiftness to the whole team out of the gate and nobody doing it
