Everyone would love to have the same mistform as the elementalist when they are downed but your suggestions don't seem very exciting. Because one of the issues with downed in PvP is how imbalanced it is. Some classes downed skills are just clearly BETTER than the others. For PvP/WvW, it should be balanced out as an even playing field. It's not about making everyone ridiculous and able to escape as downed thru a tower portal, it's about bringing everyone down to the same level.

Not really. That just means that people downed will stay back in spawn until the penalty fades.

The fact that server transfers ARE NOT FREE is why we have not gotten #alliances when because they have not figured out how to monetize it more than they already get from world transfers. They are not going to kill that Gem Goose.
