  1. Two days testing... Somehow, seems Windows firewall was blocking the connection sometimes (I couldnt understand the pattern); even with gw2 client in exception list and - in another test - with all gw2 ports added to exceptions. After reinstall firewall through updates the problem stopped.

  2. For those who is not having this issue... Probably not a hardware problem; to start, it happened with more than one person at the "same period": this month. Screen just turn on black. Thats happen specially when I have PvP queue alert or when I down (turns black before I see the character downed, but in the right time). And another fact: in the game, I just disconnect imediately (I was with a friend last time) but the game interface still anser, like F12 and F11 to charecter select, login and settings. I hope my english is enough to understand... Im repairing the game right now and I'll answer this post if I have some success after some tests.

  3. Templates... Its anoying to change and that change is already saved. A lot of things pass through my mind in how we can improve, and I could draw that... Maybe is a good idea. But I think thats not the right moment, so I just want to ask one little thing: create an option to choose if you want to save automatically or not; after that, a little button to SAVE template changes; like dyes and transmutations. To me, and a lot of friends that I discussed about, that can be a provisory solution.

     

    In all my experiences, I would suggest a more "advanced" thing as a provisory solution: create an LOCK button too. That can avoid we change our build unintentionally. However, with a SAVE button, we can just discarge any change.

     

    That change would be amazing, but I think some people like the way they are so... An option to activate that should be better. That change would be better for equipment, but can improve build template too.

You also recieve pulsing blind when standing in their smokefield, which they can drop on top of you if they combo with steal. Likewise, smokescreen pulses blind and blocks projectiles. It is recommended not to fight a thief while standing in their smoke fields. If you have any ground targeted AoEs or non-projectile based ranged spells, those can bully the thief out of their smokescreen.

  5. Its just my opinion. As I see, I had a lot o blindness in some seconds. Any hit, any skill, a lot of interrupt and... Again, another blind. I think thats not a good thing for conquest mode but developers should judge that. If im wrong and im complaining for nothing, its ok; we can adapt like we adapt with players that believe just their suggestions are valid... Not a big deal.

Another instance happened today on the solid ocean fractal where we had the instability that makes you have to stick together, everyone but me was using ranged to take out the tentacles but I literally just had to sit there doing nothing as I couldn't leave the group lest I die and they were too far away for me to melee and I couldn't swap to my staff because it was in combat.

     

    I'm not TOTALLY agree with weapon swap for elementalists, but maybe 60 sec cooldown (or more)? Just to change your combat from mellee to attack some player on a wall... Maybe just for wvw and after 10 seconds use of any skill (to do not stack meteor shower with dragon's tooth, for instance).

  7. Except 3rd situation listed by Tom, all the things ocurred to me (which includes secretsauce list).

    Sometimes, avengers from Fractals is respawning after Vapor Form in Fractals. Also, especially in Fractals but it happened in PvP once, while I activate Vapor Form I just got killed instead, instantaneusly.

    I dont know if the problem is ping or something else but JUST with Twist of Fate I have the same problem as Tom PLUS being interrupted during animation... I think that pool about pre and pos-casting should be considered.

     

    I know that this changes affects just elementalists players but we are talking about some kind of QoL and game quality... I hope (as every profession and every player) that ANet is looking at this.

  8. Besides other suggestions, I think 20% cooldown reduction as a major trait the wrong way - they use to be the best option nowadays. I'm not sure this is the best solution, but maybe as a minor trait for each specialization (including arcane) will let one major trait more valuable than now (a new one).
