Thank you, I put my yolomouse in the exceptions and that didn't change anything so I put the gw2 folder itself in the exceptions and that worked. Funny considering I don't use any active addons.
  2. I'm currently having this issue and nothing that has been suggested has fixed it. Has anyone successfully fixed this issue?
  3. Yeah that's been around since at least when the first Aurora collection was released in LS3. Best you can do right now is either try to find another map, or wait til a patch (patches reset all bugged maps to their non-bugged state).
  4. > @"Lamont.5973" said: > I noticed this as well. Also a return of a bug that washes out the colors on characters on the character select screen Yeah, that happens for me regularly now too. Previously it was only a very occasionally that the character icons would be too washed out by light, but now it happens like 99% of the time. For those who might ask about troubleshooting, I run on the highest settings (best appearance or w/e it's called). I've tried turning down the graphics to mid or even low and that doesn't change a thing about the weird lighting.

As I can't see the picture you posted on imgur, I can't know if the issue you are reporting is related to what I experienced when I created last character on last month, but I noticed small lighting issues, when the hair and the beard don't match well together (I interpreted this as curvy hair not reflecting the light the same way as straight hair). Sorry if it's out of topic. > ![](https://zupimages.net/up/21/02/geda.jpg "") > ![](https://zupimages.net/up/21/02/mwjv.jpg "") > ![](https://zupimages.net/up/21/02/imue.jpg "") > It's not the same at all.
  6. There's only 2 reasons why I would currently play through the latest release again. However, the second reason is very temporary and depends on how fast I can grind it out. 1. I enjoy the completion of story on alts. I have 70 characters and finishing the story on each can be a long grind, but I find it intensely satisfying. 2. *Currently* the second reason is because one needs 480 Pristmaticite Crystals to make the Dragon Slayer set, and those are limited each day to at *best* 8 (6 from cheevos, 1-2 from the home instance node), but completing a story step gives you one as a reward (and they do drop from the DRM chests too). I imagine most people don't find the first reason satisfying enough to replay it. Especially when there is a literal 10 minutes of exposition *immediately* after starting the new chapter. Games that stop the gameplay for exposition are absolutely grating, especially when they *try* to incentivise you to play through it on alts. When that exposition is unskippable it devalues the story and tells the player "we don't care about your time".

That way we can buy the bonus we would like for the cosmetic we have earned and would like to use. I always feel like I am missing out without the flexibility. Oh like put the Experience boost on Otter instead of the Magic Find? I think that's also a really good idea.

Apparently their support had a lot of problem with those, so they decided to switch in gw2 to a system that is scam-free. And the additional boon for them is that they can tax the transactions now, which works as a major gold sink and one of the core stabilizing elements for the market. > > Scams? Both sides have to submit an offer and you have the opportunity to double-check the offer of the other party before hitting "accept". Outside of people not bothering to check what they were receiving I don't know how you'd be able to scam someone through that trade system. A thing is too much platinum for a trade? Go with ectos. The item worth more than 7 stacks of ectos? Use armbraces.

Just like the "Icebrood Saga" is the same as a "Living Story". A new name just makes it seem newer and shinier than the rest.
  10. > @"Teratus.2859" said: > Much like dungeons there is a lot of waiting around for characters to talk There is - at a MINIMUM - 10 minutes of unbridled exposition IMMEDIATELY when starting this story. I listened to it the first time around, second time I was so bored I timed it. 10 minutes of exposition starting a new story. About 5 minutes in HoM, about 3 minutes in Rata Sum, and then another few minutes in the instance before you even get to actually *do* anything. I thought I hated it when I reached the steps in the previous ~4 stories where it's just "run around the map, kill things and do events to pad time because we can't be bothered to come out with meaningful story content to fill in here". At this point I'd take that over the mind-numbingly mundane drivel that I have to listen to every time I replay the story on an alt. At least I can actually work towards moving forward instead of the game telling me "no you can't play the instance now, listen to these guys bickering first".

It's super easy to install. I thought I'd make use of it more than I do, but switching mounts is easier via spamming a key shortcut rather than bringing up this menu every time tbh. Though I still use it a lot for novelties.

Having issue with ONE part of ONE fractal =/= having issue with EVERY part of EVERY fractal. No need to be so condescending and say "lol well just do t3". As for raids mate I've already got every skin under the sun related to them. You're assuming things about me that are clearly incorrect and making an ass of yourself in the process. Don't be a dick and actually add to the conversation next time mate.

The removal of CC consumables has meant that groups are now wanting Condi FBs to the exclusion of almost all else. All this does is swap one meta for another, which is what ANet were specifically trying to address. You don't want to have a meta that basically goes "Play Guard or GTFO." It's terrible for balance and player choice, and I'm already seeing splits in the CMs/T4 community where you have groups that are doing all CMs, and CMs excluding 100, on top of the existing "people who only do T4s" or lower tiers. I'm in a guild that specifically recruits people who are CM ready and capable, and even within it there are people who look for groups for "99+98CM + t4s" because the average pug doesn't seem to know what a cc even is.
