This is definitely a bug, one that will not be fixed, becasue nobody cares. I experienced the same with a minion necro in party. I tried a dozen times and finally managed to finish them off BEFORE minions started attacking again (or in between attacks). This is utterly stupid and makes totally no sense, but it's still present in 2020, because you know what... nobody cares about bugs like that. The only bugs that are sorted out are the ones which prevent you from buying gems.

Wow. Thank you for such a comprehensive test. That does change my view on the issue. Really, much appreciated. What left me confusing is that there is no visual indicatior of FP "kicking in" - for example: - Hardedning Presence has an icon with number of stacks appearing along other applied effects - Might has an icon with stacks + it actualy influences the values shown in tooltips, when you hover over your attack skills. Then again - I am really grateful for the test you made and I'm once again reassured that player community is absolutely great in this game. Thanks!

I read the wiki. I know how it is SUPPOSED to work. I just can't see it work, and I still don't know the difference betwen an upkeep skill and a herald skill. I **guess **that a "Herald" skill is Glint's facet. In any case, it doesn't work, or the bonus is somehow hidden. I didn't notice any dmg increase either with or from any upkeep skills. PLUS: a sample of "brilliant" support explanation: "Forceful Persistence is a skill that increases character damage, and is buffed further with active upkeep skills. As it has no icon, it will not show above your skill bar. Additionally, as you are able to see here: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Forceful_Persistence, **it does not work when the character is channeling Glint**. As Facets are all related to Glint, you will not receive buffs, or any additional damage, when using a Facet."

I'm afraid to ask, becasue clearly it's an old post and everybody has it figured out and is so smart here, but let me try anyway: Should I see Forceful Persistence icon appear along other effects? Like Hardening Persistence or Steadfast Rejuvenation? Because when I activate any number of Facets, I can't get the Forceful Persistence to show up, nor to influence the stats shown on any of the atacks I have. At the same time both Hardening Persistence and Steadfast Rejuvenation appear, along with the number of stacks. Or is this Forceful Persistence working with all skills BUT Facets? then what are Herald's upkeep skills? I wish one day this game was not all about wiki and forums, but the actual well-described-in-game gameplay...
