  1. Maybe I'm just lucky, but I haven't run into any thieves like the ones you describe since the balance update. Sure, the good ones can be annoying to fight, but they are far from needing nerfs. Btw, if you're having trouble fighting a class, try playing that class for a few days. It's the best way to learn their strengths and weaknesses.

  2. For the past few days I've had this weird issue where my back items will sometimes vanish if I draw my weapons. After it happens the first time, it keeps happening every time I draw my weapons until I leave WvW. It usually seems to start when I go into combat near a large group of players. I've only experienced it in WvW so far, but I haven't spent much time outside of it lately so idk if it happens in other game modes.

  3. That depends on how hard they hit it. If they gut the entire class like the whiners on the forums want, I'm gonna be pretty upset. If they act reasonable and only nerf the stuff that's overperforming, I probably won't care too much. Those who want free kills should never be catered to in situations regarding balance.

    > Well people are asking for tengus and they are just another humanoid race. That's 3 humanoids in total, only thing slightly compareable to a quaggan is asura, how is that fair???

    > Also small and funny, I guess you are someone who makes default faced asuras, hmph.

Tengu are shaped like Charr but with bird parts, so I don't really see how they could be considered humanoid. I'd totally be up for making a Quaggan character though if they were playable. Problem is getting all the armor and stuff to fit a creature that round would probably make even the Charrs' stretching and clipping issues look like nothing.

  5. I would buy a Tengu outfit if it was the only option, but I'd be pretty disapointed about having no customization asides from dyes. A tonic would be even worse, because then there'd be no customization at all. Also it would annoy me to have npcs refer to me as a different race while I look like a Tengu, so I probably wouldn't do any story stuff on that character.

  6. I've noticed this too. Warrior used to be one of my favorite classes for WvW, but now I'm having a lot of trouble making a decent build. Seems like if I try to run tanky, I'm noticeably squishier than my other tanky characters while also doing much less damage than them. If I run dps, anyone who knows how to dodge or kite completely wrecks me. If I try to run a hybrid sort of build, I just end up bad at everything. I've also noticed that while roaming on my other characters, nearly every warrior I've encountered since the update has been practically a free bag. So far I think I've only seen one war that actually put up a fight, and that was a heavy CC build vs my necro. I'm really glad they are toning down the powercreep, but it's starting to feel like they hit warrior too hard.

  7. I also miss shroud flashing. Reaper was my main for a long time after HOT, and flashing was one of the reasons I enjoyed it so much. Over time it just got more and more nerfed and now I rarely ever play it. Reaper just doesn't feel the same anymore.

What makes less sense it watching 5 guys on mounts have to chase a dude unmounted across half the map cause unmounted players should be able to outrun 5 mounts/survive. The same guys that got away every single time pre mounts and will again most likely with the next warclaw nerf.

    >

    > No my bad of course you should be able to rapid fire the guy who falls behind and get away every single time and never ever get chased. I only chase that ranger sb or mez that harasses the tail and certain guilds i don't like members that try to escape when we wiped 90 percent of them. No one should get away every single time like pre mounts. I'm a reaper I never get away. It is useful typically that player logs off after in a rage like why the eff these guys chase me across the map. mounts are so unfair

My build can't "rapid fire" anyone, as I run somewhat tanky to avoid getting one-shot by other roamers. I also don't usually harass the tail, as I prefer fighting other roamers and capping stuff. It's usually when I'm doing one of those 2 things that I get chased. I don't think I should get away every time, but I should have a chance to escape instead of being an easy kill for the blob.

There is a point to killing a zergling running back to their zerg, it's not for gratification, it's to kill the reinforcements so your side has a better chance to win whatever fighting they were running back to.

    > >

    > > The only people who would complain about getting ganked while running back to fight in zerg builds are people who go in a straight line from spawn to fight and want everyone to ignore them until they get back to their zerg. Knowing the terrain, the area you control, and shortcuts, using scouting information, and maneuvering around enemies is part of the game, that open world part of wvw should not be ignored and taken away because people are too lazy to figure things out.

    > Isn't it easier to avoid them entirely with the warclaw and not have this situation entirely?

Yes, because I'm special and have the magical power of mounting while in combat.

The only people happy about the warclaw are gank groups who like that they don't have to put any effort into running down solo players that are stuck in combat instead of that person actually having a chance to get away.

Zerglings get prioritized in most of WvW, otherwise the warclaw wouldn't be a thing to begin with. Besides, now the "gankers" won't be faster than you when you aren't in your team's territory.

    > I don't play charr, is it bad clipping?

I mostly play charr, and I haven't noticed much clipping. When the tail moves up to where it would otherwise clip, part of the cape moves up too, kinda like real fabric. I think the only time I've seen it clip at all so far is when jumping, and that's only momentarily. It's pretty nice imo.
