  1. The only thing I personally like about this ongoing discussion (which concerns this rune in general - not only DH) is that the more often it is discussed or complained about (rightly), the more ANet should finally acknowledge that this rune should be reworked! Not that this should not have happened long ago. However, until ANet is ready to not only understand this but also to do so, it will most likely need some "new and many more" contributions to this topic. It is basically only a matter of time, and ANet has a lot of it, right? :) > But according to ANet: > Our number one priority right now is crafting Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons with the high quality you expect and deserve. This means that with EoD everything will be different, in other words, we'll get all the things we haven't experienced or haven't been allowed to experience until now! You are surely as excited as I am, aren't you? *sarcasm/irony off
  2. When we talk about GW2 PvP in 2020, at least the Clown Fest is decent! Otherwise nothing will come for a long time (anymore). How many games do you experience where you say, "WoW, that was a good match that was actually fun? Far too few for my taste! Even Duo-Q, i.e. pre-made groups can end up in an absolute clown fiesta. Why? Because at least one player may want to be carried through the game. In the worst case, both are bad. I have also experienced games often enough where they have contributed to everything, except winning the game. And such games, see here >[ Premade Groups](https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/111205/premade-groups-like-this-why-is-that-still-a-thing) <, there are also far too often. The different divisions now play a role in only a few cases. You can find them everywhere, the Clown Fest! ANet wants it this way, and this is how it is done! So to say, to do the maximum minimum to experience the biggest and the best clown festival (and even for free). :) But, hey... with EoD everything will be different! 3. > @"Sodeni.6041" said: > I stopped playing GW2 for 2 years and have returned to it about 3 weeks ago and yesterday I gave PvP a try again. > I checked out some popular builds, current meta, did some unranked matches and then went into ranked. > > And holy cow, this PvP community is really toxic! I play Dead by Daylight a lot so I am familiar with toxic people and a toxic ommunity but I never thought it would be like that in GW2 as well. Definitely the wrong time to play GW2 PvP again. The state of PvP has never been worse than at the moment! Regardless of the balance and small or bigger "changes" (...), too many players (good, advanced, top players and veterans) have quit PvP or left the game completely. And rightly so! What you find is like a circus where monkeys and donkeys throw a party together. But who is surprised? ANet has done everything for this, which is also reflected in the increasing "toxicity" (which seems new to you in GW2 PvP). > I hope the devs adress these issues and check player reports to make PvP less toxic because it really kills the fun of this gamemode. They do (sooner or later), don't worry! :) But the real fun in this game mode has been "killed" long ago, not just for a few days or months! In the end ANet has to answer for this state of affairs, that means, is responsible (for the bad mood). Those who don't take 2/3 of their own game (and thus 2/3 of their company) as well as their customers (all, not only the PvE part) seriously (or much too late), reap scorn and mockery, justifiably. Enclosed, welcome back (let's see how long)! :)
