  1. PvP is the right arm, PvE is the left. You want disabled game? Cut one arm, but don't expect to work as good as having both arms. I love PvP but I enjoy PvE too.
  2. I'd go soul beast with the gazele animal, for on use Daze ability, then will go for shortbow (5 skill is big stun) and then swap to 2 hand sword for another 5 skill daze/stun and 2-3 skill - dmg big time. :)

Good thiefs will one-shot guardian, becouse they know how. For example, they may spec for lot of boon removings, since guardian is a alot boon dependent, and maybe a good thief will add some condi cleaning abilities. The point is - a good thief will never complain, he knows he needs more effort to kill condi guard, but he can. > > > > I've played 1/3 from classes myself, figuring out how to counter something that has crushed me and I do manage to find the right build and playstlye. > > > > I think the problem about QQ nerf threads comes from the one desire you want Your playstyle and one and only class build become meta and to counter everything. No, you can counter few classes and builds but you will be vulnarable VS others. Every class can counter every class but most likely you will have to change lot of things with your build and playstyle to counter sometimes something rare and specific. > > > > Thank you Devs for the quality of experience with this game. > > Thanks for the great community here. > > > > Best wishes > > Onyflameone > > Thats maybe so in some cases, but I play Ranger not Soulbeast, and right now Necros, Burn Guardians, Revenants, Thiefs all the classes that can cast Torment are doing far far far to much damage! Its ridiculous! I shouldn't have to log out and onto another class just to play against the OP meme Specs! > > Thats not good design, its not good for the game, and you defending it tells me you clearly need the crutch to play one! I do not defend anything but I want people to think more. In your case you gave as example I can tell you, I have played ranger and ranger has one of the most defensive traits and cond removing traits and almost constant 33% dmg reduce (from dodge roll - trait). So if you spec for more dps you will loose defensive trees, just spec more defensive, and not to mention ranger can escape big time AoE - bursts and etc.
  4. Well, I guess you are right, I am not that experienced here as you are. Hope Devs find a solution.

Like everysingle class has counter vs bunker/burst player/kiter etc. It is just you need to choose the right build vs the outcome. I have so many counters as warrior, now I changed to scourge and I often spec different builds vs different comps. If I find bunkers in my way, which many of you complain, i build with better sustain and MAINLY converting their boons to conditions (like boon is the main thing someone is strong in anyway, focus on removing boons - spec wise - and you are Okay) I've faced like total op builds in 2v2 and when I change to boon removing build - they just melt! So think about it. Players get strong not becouse of the build but for the benefits of the boon. One boon first gives bonus to something, second it makes player even strong because when you have specific boon you get additional bonuses (2,3,4,5 from talents that benefit from the boon and add something more). > > > > SO remove a boon is First priority. > > > > It's just i've learned that even tho something is stronger doesn't mean it's OP, just COUNTER it right. > > you do know you're talking to some of the most experienced pvp'ers in here? > allright say you face a healbreaker, what boons are you planning to corrupt? i'm most curious Well, I just share my experience, but if I must answer your question: Since he has many susstain + heal, Ill focus on boons removing build + poisons and chills (for reduced heal and reduced speed of abilities) also will build for more dmg to presure. So ill get more presure from my build and increased presure from chills and poisons (because those things I think I should counter - his heals and his recharge time)
  6. Guys im new but, think about what i'll say. Everything and every spec has counters. One boon first gives bonus to something, second it makes player even stronger because when you have specific boon you get additional bonuses (2,3,4,5 from talents that benefit from the boon and add something more). example: HE buffs with Fury (20% crit add), but he has talents where as long as he is having the boon up - he gets 20% dmg increase and has chance to heal on his crits) If you remove the boon you don't just remove the 20% crit chance but all other benefit the player gets from having the boon up (20% dmg increase and the chance to heal on crits) SO remove a boon is First priority. It's just i've learned that even tho something is stronger doesn't mean it's OP, just COUNTER it right.
  7. Do I need to apply gear in all gear slots, for PvP? Because when I see my PvP tab for character - only weapons, sigils, runes and amolet counts? Like at the moment I have no helm equiped nor some rings and legs I think, but I join bg-s pvp, does this matter?
  8. Does the ArcDPS work where I test my rotations and builds? I am in some PvP lobby teleport then from there teleport to some dummie zone where there are also different profession nps too, will it work there?
  9. So I can use ArcDPS, and this isn't against the policy of ArenaNet statements? I must know, because I don't want to do things against rules. Any ArenaNet dev could confirm this? Or any post that tells me I can use? And how do I install it? Thank you (:
