  1. Please bring back the awakened mounts package, they're the most beautiful mount skin pack <3
  2. I watched your videos before, I found the quad healing combo quite difficult to pull off! Also, that sword weaver trailblazer is very durable is nice, but it still doesn't do anything against bosses that can't be damaged from melee :/ I did manage to solo the chak challenge in your video with scepter weaver with little difficulty, though. Do other heals than signet offer better survivability? I saw lord Hizen used the glyph heal in his solo weaver videos.
  3. > @"Touchme.1097" said: > If you are looking for a decent PvE open world weaver build forget snowcrows and metabattle raid builds, their weaver builds are so squishy and elementalist is the squishiest designed profession with a complex rotation and it doesn't even top the damage meters for being a glass cannon as there are other professions who are tankier, easier to play and do a lot of damage baseline like all of them. Unless we get some serious PvE buffs who are not aiming to make the profession significantly overpowered I would go for the marshal or dire/trailblazer condi build to be on par with the self sustain other professions get baseline or rolling another profession and stop playing elementalist altogether because the Meta in PvE is already set in stones and is not seeing any significant balance improvements. I use staff as my secondary weapon to swap to on my weaver in order to get the job done on those annoying fights that are not melee friendly and seriously punish players for playing a melee build. > As a weaver, outside of Signet of Earth, you lack strong hard CC on demand combos like the dragonhunter's Bane Signet+Dragon's Maw combo or Thief's conditions+Signet of shadows+Basilisk Venom combo. I am sure the other professions have better break bar damage than elementalist except Deadeye which has been left with weak break bar damage to compensate on nothing but single target dps. I was thinking of trying marshal stats, do you have any experience with it? > @"Arheundel.6451" said: > With that build, you have already enough precision and vitality trait works regardless of the main hand weapon used, it simply add more vitality when you equip a sword. > > About the build you want to use, just tell me what you need and can suggest something, I am quite good at stats mixing thx to years of WvW gameplay but for starters : > > -scepter is mostly power dmg, actually the dedicated condi skills don't do enough to deserve a heavy stats investment > -power specs doing optimal dmg require huge stats sacrifices and that normally means low toughness and zero healing power > -You can still run bruiser builds for PvE but I don't recommend running scepter...staff on the other hand, yeah you can make a bruiser staff ele with a mix of celestial/crusader/captain stat then use Fire/air line to gain enough might/precision/ferocity buffs > > PS you can change arcane with water like and run : Piercing shard - Flow like water and Soothing power , 2-3-3, you would have more than enough sustain even without running any healing power...at least in PvE I don't really have an idea of a build, I'm just looking for anything functional. I love how active weaver is, but as a necro/mes main, it's been a challenge to make it anywhere near durable as the other two light classes with comparable damage. As far as I know, there's no cheese rune that works on ele like it does on mes/necro (tormenting; not that necro even needs it), is there? I tried vampirism, but that obviously doesn't work against bosses.
  4. Why the sword vitality talent without wielding a sword? Also, no healing power? It seems pretty strong on ele in terms of sustain.
  5. Well, I made the suggestion for anet to see, some folks agreed, that's really all I wanted from this. I would like it, think it would be cool and would buy it. Unless you're an anet employee, you really can't tell whether they will or will not introduce it and how much it would affect their revenue. I have to say some folks are strangely adamant about opposing QoL gimmicks. I hope anet will consider this item/idea!
  6. I don't see how this item would be obsolete when people who don't change that often would still buy them in smaller packets/farm them. Like I'm not asking them to introduce a transmutation pass that makes transmuting free forever that costs half the price of the 5 transmutations packet, lol. Not everybody however needs a 1000 gems transmutation pass that lasts a month for example. Like, I'm asking for a convenience thing here, same as infinite gathering tools/copper salvager/lounge passes. They already did this before by introducing the permanent hairstylist contract. I don't want to farm cosmetic stuff, and I certainly don't want to stress over it. I'd rather spend money to skip the tedium and focus on the fun parts of the game. I think that's a pretty basic concept in every online game these days.
  7. > @"kharmin.7683" said: > Take away what is probably one of the greatest methods of income for Anet by doing this? What is in it for Anet? How could they possibly benefit if they accepted this proposal? They can be farmed and bought with statuettes, I doubt a whole lot of people buy them from the shop. I know I don't and I always need more. As the first poster predicted, thread got charged by "play wvw/pvp" folks. I don't want to do pvp just so I can do fashion. It's not like you have to step out of wvw/pvp and do content you don't like to get dungeon skins/warclaw/blueprints.
  8. Heyo, it is my humble hope for Anet to add something akin to a Transmutation Pass, i.e. an item that, once purchased, unlocks unlimited transmuting on a character for a certain time. Juggling transmutation charges is my singular source of anxiety and stress in this game - I just want to be able to wardrobe freely, match with my friends for dungeons or whatever strikes my fancy that moment. Fashion is one of the most fun things for me and it being so limited in Guild Wars, which is a visually awesome game, just makes me sad. I'd honestly rather pay for a gemstore pass than manage transmutation charges in their current state. I know they can be farmed, but it's tedious and I'd rather spend that time actually playing the game. Every other big MMO lets you fashion to your heart's content, so why not Guild Wars?
  9. > @"Hannelore.8153" said: > Marshal's is taken because it offers near-max Healing Power outside of sets like Cleric/Magi without sacrificing too much damage. This is because Healing Power is a major stat on it, which is extremely rare. > > With most other sets you get more tankiness/Boon Duration/etc, but only 1k of healing instead of 1.5-1.8k. This is very important on Scourge, because barrier application isn't affected by outgoing healing% modifiers, nearly all of Scourge healing & barriers is just raw Healing Power. This is why they also often take Rune of Rebirth, Sigil of Life, etc. instead of the usual support builds found on other classes. > > The point of having any damage on the build isn't to help the group--your damage will be on the order of 10% of DPS players with a good rotation. Its so you can build up sigil stacks, deal with adds, tag enemies and survive on your own when caught out alone. This seems counter productive but if you've ever played a meta character in Minstrel's or similar you'd understand the struggle. > > Scourge can also only make limited use of Concentration, their only good boon access being 25 Might stacking for the group. They do give some boons out from other sources, such as from converting conditions, but not enough to be worth it. > > Pretty much all that's worth investing in for Scourge is damage, Healing Power and sometimes Vitality. Thanks, that's informative. If survivability is an issue, why not roll full shaman? Is "getting caught out alone" a thing in raids?
  10. Any ideas for gryphon? It's my favorite :D
  11. Did the Mistborn adoption license just cycle out? I wanted to nab the Speckled Shortfang :( Also would love Istani license back for the Raccoon Gryphon

I try to remember a few of these and even if I don't want that colour I'll try them out on any new equipment just to see how the dye looks, so I know if it's worth looking for something in the right colour with a similar effect or just going for the best shade I can find. (Also some parts of armour or outfits really is flat and smooth with no texture to show.) > > > @"Wisely.4819" said: > > I know I can preview them but sometimes while preview them I preview them on bad materials or bad outfits and I end up skipping it when it's actually a good dye. (The wedding outfit changes completely based on the race of the character.) Thank you so much for the list!! I will work through it tomorrow :D I do have the wedding dress. The Sylvari version has no metallic parts so I can't test stuff on it but I think the Norn one does? I can see how that could be gooooood

You can create clones directly with Staff2 and with dodges (Deceptive Evasion trait), and then shatter them (preferably when you have 3 clones). 23. thank you all for your suggestions :D I am making a list: * Bloody Red - I have it, need to test * Cinders * Charred * Carnage Orange * Ember Red * Caustic Green * Vincent * Heirloom - I think I have it * Blue Lion * Enameled Emblaze - I thought I had all enameleds but this one sounds unfamiliar I have Glossy Black and it's nowhere near as cool as Darkness. The Abyssals I have, they are very cool but sometimes too dark. Permafrost is the opposite of accentuating a texture - it erases them entirely :D It looks funny sometimes but that's it I feel

I tried the Herald out in the Mists against one of the class training dummy NPCs and it killed me, which was embarrassing and also maybe proof that the way energy consumption works on Herald might be too galaxy brain for me
