got kicked in pof story just after killed the crystal golem... was like ohhh crap. then i logged in and was back at golem, had to kill it again, but least not from start of area

i wish mesmer gets a master class thats all glammer... i miss the days of casting and watching someone spam skills and kill themselves.

loving the pics, for some reason I keep getting dragged back to my engineer need to get some nice outfits and effects

main difference I found = Pof all the mobs suddenly want to run right up next to you.. nolonger happily blasting stuff at range, just happy little hug squads

i came back and got a 80 engi scrapper, 80 mesmer (collecting points for crono) and now my Guardian is 60.. made guardian as ALL the fights in pof, seem to equal multipul mobs right up in your face. im actualy loving Guardian

atm i got access to chrono, going to run arround finding pof hero challenges, im rotating between the mesmer and engineer. can see i need to get so much stuff, got 500 tailor, but looked at what i need to make my first piece of pink (assended) armour and wow... but now i know why some folk are simply swatting mobs that take me a good fight.

love how my mesmer looks, so tomorrow will be on a hero point hunt, as my engi just ulocked the skimmer :)

atm im struggling between my scrapper (just got barrier) and my mesmer, with can i be arsed to do the storry again, grab the hero points. mesmer is struggling more than engi, with all the mobs determined to be right in my face every fight.

neer top or desert is a guy who asks you to press lights in a row or first town in next area has one on a pole, ask if a mesmer can portal you up

on bright side my scrapper got the barrier now, so way more fun

doh seems me saving lots of points was pointless. found out all skills have to be maxed first

doh me again so got mesmer to 80, gained 3 more mastery levels, but cant seem to train my chrono or other one. what am i missing please?

someone said they had steam running in background and it oddly fixed the disconects in story mode (something about it constantly being active looking for updates) so i tried same and after 6 disconects at same exact spot, it suddenly worked

oddly used a fix i saw and no idea why but worked ran steam in background

having this exact problem on first pof mission. same spot everytime after fight with the 2 dogs, when npc asks me to save village and put out fires. meens i cant play pof

atm looks like im stuck anywaty. game says lost connection, everytime i reach the pof quest section to put fires out.. can imediatly log back in and play anywhere else but this quests broke for me

you can actualy use the boost and it gives you a trial of being 80 to see if like what boost gives. gives you the armout and geer, lev 80 all skills filled (not mastery) and lets you run around the lev 80 intro area, which will show you how mobs got harder/smarter then if you try to leave area it asks you if you wish to stay 80 or return to original level

the boost is ok. but spends all your points and gives an ok set of gear. personaly after hitting 80 on engi and having spent all my points already, i found having to hunt hero challenges to level a mastery slow, but now im leveling a Mesmer and rather than jumping to 80, im saving points after getting stuff i needed to level. so when i hit 80 i can put all my points in mastery line and make the hunting in expansion areas more fun. also jumping to 80 is likely to be painfull, as geer you get realy dont weigh up against the new level of hot or pof mobs. its great though, first game ive player where pve got harder after 80 :)

thanks got the springer and its already let me reach 5 mastery points just wish i could get a portal to the one in centre of quicksand lake

so apparently i need a springer mount to continue story.. guide i saw says it requires an optional area what does it meen optional? are there areas i cant go even after buying both expansions?
