  1. But our daze durations are horrible. 1/4s on polaric leap... come on now. 1s seems to be the max from other skills.

    If we switch scholar to mesmer rune for 33% daze duration, it's not enough.

    I want to do it with staff for WvW. Static and gust, or static and pile driver, with tempest defense are extremely gimmicky ways to apply daze. Static not so much, but the other two are very unpredictable. One good thing about pile driver is that it pierces, but most of the time I've used this the person dodges randomly before it lands, or they will have some other effect on them that negates it. It needs to also be unblockable. It is good on paper because it stays 5 targets and 1200 range, but getting it to work is very unreliable.

    I know comet is another way, but meh. That's not good vs large numbers to play without a staff on.

  2. My crash said 3308 at the end of it. I can't see what that is about when I google searched it. I moved addon's folder to desktop if that has anything to do with it. I contained arcdps. I crashed in Eternal Battlegrounds while just standing around in SM doing nothing. I hope not to crash after reset or the queues will be impossible.

    edit: I had noticed arc dps was loading my name and some random alpha-numerics where my name was over and over forever.

    I like just running the metrics thing, but the MB on that kept increasing. I don't know if I updated it or not, or if we're even allowed to use this thing anymore. I used it as personal damage tracking for my Ele and watching my ping.

  3. Hi, I'm famous on Mag. Let me clear up a few things: People have in fact transferred off of mag to fight mag before. D3RP runs open squads full of pugs without voice comms all the time, along with various other guilds (Mag has far more pugmanding than closed guild raids by far). Winning the match is meaningless. KDR does matter. Getting blobbed down while you're solo roaming is hilarious. Interrupting duels and gvgs aren't frowned upon.

     

    My personal philosophy is that if you take a team's keep in EBG that you will end up with far less fights.

    If you don't own SM, you will be attacked by all manners of siege trying to go past or to it. There's a very easy way to take sm, and a very easy way to defend it: shield gens vs arrow carts. Also if you have squishies right up against the gate where you have to stop dps/healing to rez them, you will probably not get it.

    Mag has bashed both links that we've gotten.

    I feel that Mag has fallen apart due to the fact that it's impossible to tell who is original Mag because the guild names and character names are unrecognizable. People who come back from long stretches will instinctively play worse without realizing all of the patches that have happened since they left.
