Are you NA or EU? If you're NA, my guild WISE is always recruiting. We do a bit of everything, we do have some members into raids and such but we're also very relaxed and mellow and up for almost anything. (exploring, helping with map completion, fractals..)

I play most days. Different time zone but it shouldn't be an issue. Feel free to add me and drop a whisper. ?

Well, I'm not worried about it being my character's "actual" hair.( helms of all kinds hide your hair anyway, aside from head circlets) Just hair that you can see and dye and not a bald head would suit me just fine. Perhaps an option to have one with hair and one without. I mean, they can't please everyone no matter what they do but i would love to have some braids or some kind of hair showing on either side of a hood. There are plenty of options that have none whatsoever.

Was going to ask the same thing..

well, the swaggering hat has visible hair. So technically it can. But right now with everyone working from home I don't expect much.

I have no issues with the existing capes, but a hooded cloak would be amazing. One with visible hair.

If you're on NA, feel free to whisper me in game!

Runic is pretty expensive if you're planning on buying with Gold. 250g for just the chest. If you don't mind grinding strike missions you can get it cheaper, but there's a pretty large karma cost as well.

Anet is working on a fix.
-
Thank you for the hard work, the strike mission was a blast! *crosses fingers this issue is fixed soon

I thought it was extremely fun (went with a public group) Honestly, players shouldn't be so turned off by group play, it IS an mmorpg, after all.
-
That seems to work (for soulbeast anyway) And is a good temporary fix so we can play, but this shouldn't be an issue for ranger. Think of necro suddenly losing their minions, mesmers unable to summon clones, rev's without legends. It's a huge piece of the class that shouldn't be broken in the first place.

I think it's a nice plus for brand new players to get extra goodies in just running around as normal. That being said, there do need to be some tutorials implemented as far as learning core mechanics as Aaralyna mentioned above. Still, makes leveling for lowbies a bit more pleasant.
-
i should have clarified that it seems only to be an issue with soulbeast, core ranger is fine, i cannot speak for druids, however. I agree, it is extremely annoying.

Seems to be a bug, but i could be wrong. Got the update, activated pet outside combat, entered combat and pet vanished. The activation panel was there but could not use it during combat. Sooo..how are we supposed to keep our chosen pet out? Also seemed to occur a lot after mount/dismount.

45. and my guild leader is a lady in her 70's.
-
I would love these...there's a definite lack of "weathered warrior" options.
-
oh my...that is tragic
-
My guild is extremely active. Guild leader is a lady in her 70's who has played since launch. Most members are veterans as well. (at least 5+ years playing) although my other two guilds are very quiet.

I had my SB running around as a blue djinn for a long time but felt like changing it for awhile. Wanted to use the houndskin mantle and sort of fell into a Queen of Hearts feel with the armor pieces. Love the intricate back and overall ornate feel.

So much fun, was not expecting it to be something you participate in (was expecting something you just watch) so that was an amazing surprise.

Hello all. I'm currently trying to craft an African warrior queen, the only thing i'm lacking is the ritualist outfit. I have been converting gold to gems but am still a bit short. (the Elonian Elementalist outfit would work as well, just prefer the ritualist a little more) thanks in advance!

I'm excited as well, more norn/charr driven storyline is great. True they didn't go into too much detail on PvP/WvW but did mention that changes were coming for those modes as well, so we'll wait and see. Strike missions look fun and a great option for those of us who don't have time for raids. :D

I agree, silence is the Deathstroke. But, it's still lovely to see someone just gush now and then, brings back the days when everything was new and wonderful and exciting. While there are certainly many things that need to be addressed (depending on opinion of course) it is still a gem. Thank you, for not only creating a wonderful world for me to escape to, but also a conduit for meeting some of the most wonderful people in the world.

If it's simply a matter of aesthetics, it really comes down to which race you find appealing. Clipping is an issue (most commonly with charr) so if you want your armor to look as good as possible, human or sylvari is probably your best bet. There are a ton of options to customize your character and make them look unique, despite them being a more 'vanilla' race. Continue playing around with combinations until you find one you like.
