  1. I just don't get why they can't at least be flavor though.

For example if norn elite changed you into a bear (gives X vit) wolf (gives X agil) etc. You can make it only give you 20 or 0 for I all I care but the transformation is permanent until you turn off. No fancy skills they need to need just plain flavor. It would be major weak but still fun if you just want to be a bear or wolf running around. (Think combat tonic with a very small stat buff).

For human just makes hounds a perma summon like rock wolf or parrot from runes or flesh golem and cut the dmg as much as you want if it needs to just be flavor.

Same concept across board with the other races. I would just like to have a golem pet out always as an asura or dog as a human or leaf person if i so want. Even if it doesn't really increase my dps (probably would lower as no elite to use) but I would use it for fun. I never use the current elites because they are a very short duration and a huge cool down. Don't even really get to enjoy it so why bother.

Frankly every race has a summon except norn so just make all of them have the same weak dps and you are golden. No special race just different looks for your weak flesh golem elites. For norn just make the transformation a flavor like above and viola.

This is my 2 cents but it and many like have been long long ignored so don't expect anything to actually change.

  2. From a different angle why couldn't you have multiple elite trait lines? You would just have to have the traits be 1 major and 2 minor. The major trait would follow the changes (for example if you have reaper major but scourge minor you would have reaper shroud and access to the scourge traits, weapons and skills but not mechanic (shades)). It would need a few skills fiddled with but I think that would greatly allow build diversity and fun combinations. This way you don't have an extra 4th trait power creep bar full of modifiers but still a lot more flexibility. Plus any elites in the Future could add to the pool of choices.

  3. I would like to see Power, Healing and Ferocity combinations. I find many classes have options to greatly increase crit chance. For example renegade gives 33% base and you can trait 40% on fury with the 5% base you are starting at around 80% crit chance with 0 precision and no group buffs. You don't really need all that much more precision to reach cap with that. I think this could lead to some fun power healers with viable dps. Most the combos seem to only bring precision but no Ferocity making even your crits quite weak.

  4. I read a comment a while back of someone wanting to change orbs from staff and ventari into essentially engineer mines. I think that would be a great mechanic. Make them larger and more visible (for allies and enemies to notice) and they now blow up with heal/damage when stepped on. It gives the ventari salvation traitline some dps ability potential too. As it already has a bunch of traits to create more of the (for now useless) orbs.

  5. The Number 1 thing I would like to see is skins for Necromancer Minions. I personally don't play necromancer all that much but I have at least 1 of each character and every time I do end up using my necro i just cringe at the minions. I would easily spend gems on the ability to reskin them to different undead or something else entirely. I would also enjoy seeing alternate skins other players choose for them in groups. Some examples you could have are a golem necro minions (for asura roll players) because why couldn't you make a corpse into a golem? Or you could have Ghosts of some type as you are just simply calling them from the realm of undeath with all sorts of different skins. Or even just go the route of dinosaurs, different tamed animals (like ranger pets already found on maps), Snowmen (wintersday theme), Icemonsters, firemonsters... you name it and the best part is the skins already exist so just conform them to minion size etc and let people open their wallets. Just saying the possibilities are endless even if you are trying to keep to the lore. (Which honestly isn't an issue I mean most mounts and other things are supernova sparkles, not exactly realistic for the genre)

I would also like to see an Endless Metabolic Primer/Utility Primer. Even if food needed to be renewed every 12 hours I'm fine with that, it would just (at least for me) make me feel its worth making ascended food etc because at this point 1 gold for an hour of "good" food just isn't worth it for casual play unless you are doing a raid or guild event.

Finally I would love to see **Account Bound** ways to get infusion skins such the Chak infusion/Festival etc. I don't care if the final cost is 5,000 Gold+ or even upwards of 10,000 Gold if you must, I just want some way to work towards them. If I want a Chak skin right now I can't even buy one on the trading post, I need to go to a third party site find someone to pay more then 10,000 Gold and hope the trade works out for even a CHANCE at getting one. I'm totally fine with things being expensive but at least giving us a way to work towards having it if we like the effect would be awesome.

  6. This was not to make people come back to dungeons. It bring value as you say. This is simply a courtesy to those who still do dungeons and would enjoy the same benefits that it gives to fractal goers. Don't tell me that you need potions or you can't do fractals or that potions brought value to fractals. All it was is a sink and convenience item that could be also be enjoyed by those who still dungeon. This isn't a huge effort or waste of programming time it's simply allowing them in dungeons not that rough.

My favorite is when the heal gets knocked down making 3/4 of the heal him just getting up haha.

This, all classes should be this good. But they like their Nerf hammer too much. So only Mesmer can be good at them all. :-(

  9. This looks like a major buff if anything. We heal Ally on using boon. Gives different effects now not just a boon duration buff bot. F2 actives are getting buffed. I'm actually really excited to see how it'll work. Great changes.

  10. I would adjust the renegade skills for single target too. They just kinda shoot wherever they want at this point.

For energy I think we should start at 100 or at least make it not instantly go back to 50 if ooc. I hate when you finally build it up run to another mob and loose it all because you were ooc for half a second. It's the worst.
