  1. I have played both equally in the past week doing similar activities. I feel that FB can burst down with more stacks of burning quicker. Weaver takes a bit more time to ramp up the stacks of burning/bleeding.

Whereas I found that Weaver a bit more survivable where I can always stay in melee range without much major issues.

The rotation of FB is so much simpler to the point of almost non-existence. But Weaver is really not that complicated either - it flows once you get started.

FB can double up for support; Weaver has to switch to Tempest.

I am still deciding which one I want to focus on more...

My sense is that d/d is better as a power set, but with condi utilities + dual attacks you can probably manage decent condition damage regardless.

    Thanks!

Did not realise Sword is a condi weapon...

  3. I just came back after a few years away. It was when Minstrel Chono tank was still a thing.

I relogged into my account last week trying to catch up on what I have missed and I saw I still have a full set of Ascended Minstrel gear on my Mesmer. So, is Minstrel Chrono still a thing? Otherwise it will be a waste of a good set of Minstrel gear...

  4. I was hoping to play a support Scourge in www. How much does having Sand Savant better than the other two grandmaster? Forgive me if I sound silly but how much different does make with one Sand Savant than 3 little shades?

    Thanks!

And the guy I duoed with until I got to plat 2 does as well. There are also a couple full burst dps variants, that can burst down a target faster than a typical holosmith.

Any good DPS/Support FB hybrid anyone can recommend?

    Thanks!
