There's no way to tell if a disconnection was an accident or intentional. Disconnects happen and you just have to deal with it. The first dishonor lockout should only be a few minutes anyways.

I have killed scourge as scourge, killed scourge as weaver, killed scourge with a mirage, killed scourge with a ranger both soulbeast and druid, killed scourge with deadeye, killed scourge with spellbreaker (all 1v1 examples). Burn FB can also burst a scourge down quick but make sure that their plague signet is not off CD. I lost count of how many burn FB's I killed while playing scourge just by sending their 12 stacks of burning back using plague signet. Most of their attacks also don't go passed 900 range except for staff marks. Just kite them and stay out of red circles. I am amazed at how many players stand on point inside of the scourge shades and then cry about being killed. Kill the scourge then cap/contest the point.
Playing scourge some may also help to learn about their weak points.

Do you want only one profession per team with longer queue times or would you rather have shorter queue times with multiple professions per team? Perhaps if they tried it out with just one profession per team without regard to elite specialization or the amulet the player is using as a trial to test if it really does affect queue times we could go from there. Players can also change their build at anytime before the match begins. I have on numerous times changed my amulet, a utility skill, a trait, etc... based on what the opposing team's composition was so using this for match making may not be effective.

Just my opinion. Permanently merge the current linked servers and open all servers. Change outnumbered so it is based off the entire WvW population across all maps instead of a single map. Instead of reward bonuses for Outnumbered have it increase the base stats of those affected by it. Outnumbered would also need to scale depending on how outnumbered the server really is. This would allow players to switch to the server they want to switch to and give no incentive for over stacking a single server.

I think weakness is an important part of the game. It has roles in both PvP and WvW. If weakness also reduced the condition damage of players currently affected by it then things might change completely in PvP.

Play what you want to do, just try to develop a build that will compliment your play style. If you're going to solo or small group roam your build is going to be different than running around with a map blob and trying to fight inside a lord's room.

There's one thief on your team, you can see the thief icon on the mini-map at a contested point which is home. His/her health is full, has no boons, has no conditions, must be out of combat so you can focus your attention else where. Situational awareness?
Personally would rather see attention put towards profession balancing than adding new voices.
