We're a guild for people at the margins, including disabled people, people with chronic illnesses, etc. We're on NA and our events are in EST time, although we have people in many different time zones (mostly EST and CST, though). We also love helping people learn (or re-learn!) the game. We're not tiny, but we're not huge, either. We have about 100 people in the guild, and maybe about 50 who play very regularly, with anywhere from 5-15 online at one time during peak hours. If you're interested in us, please feel free to check out our [recruitment post](https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/91141/na-pvx-cafe-cafe-solidarity-for-people-at-the-margins-e-g-bipoc-lgbtqia-disabled-more/p1) or skip right to joining our [Discord](https://discord.gg/rWTKRbP), where you can read through our #rules and then post an intro in our #introductions section! I hope we see you soon! :)

I would really like to learn how to do fractals, strikes, dungeons, and eventually raids. I'm pretty new to the game but currently I'm a reaper with the reaper tree almost fully unlocked. I currently have full exotic and a legendary great sword that an old friend gave me before he quit. I'm still working on completing the 2 expansions. I'm in the military so I mostly play on the weekends. it would be nice to make some new friends to make my weekends a little bit brighter. Thanks for reading and have a good day. Hello! I sent you an in-game mail, but I wanted to also reply here, just in case. The guild I lead, Café Solidarity, might be a good fit for you? We're a helpful, non-toxic group that enjoys assisting new players. We teach people how to do Fractals and dungeons, and we also have a Raids and Strikes (RAS) Training group. =D If you think we might be a good fit, please visit our [Discord](https://discord.gg/rWTKRbP) or check out our [recruitment post](https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/91141/na-pvx-cafe-cafe-solidarity-for-people-at-the-margins-e-g-bipoc-lgbtqia-disabled-more)! 4. Thank you to everyone who participated in our Pal-entine Karaoke Event!! I had a great time cheering everyone on and hearing everyone's awesome singing! (Also, the "You've Got a Friend in Me" group song was legit the best ever. Actual tears of joy.) :joy:

  7. Hiya! It sounds like you might be interested in my guild, Café Solidarity. We are mostly older players, and there's not hardly any profanity in the guild. We don't use voice comms very often (except for Fractal CM group and our Raids and Strikes Training Group). We have many people in the guild who are also slower to warm up but really enjoy the community once they get settled in. We're a guild for people at the margins, including people with disabilities or chronic illnesses, so we completely understand not physically being able to be online. We don't have an activity requirement. If someone does not log into the game for 3 months, we move them to a special "inactive" member status, but we don't kick them. We only kick if someone has been gone for 6 months or more with no communication. It sounds like your play times would match up well with when people are active, so maybe you'd like to consider us! If you'd like more information, please check out our [recruitment post](https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/91141/na-pvx-cafe-cafe-solidarity-for-people-at-the-margins-e-g-bipoc-lgbtqia-disabled-more/p1) or hop into our [Discord](https://discord.gg/rWTKRbP). Or, you're always welcome to send me an in-game mail! :)
  8. Hi, Jared! Welcome back to GW2! I'm wondering if you might be interested in the guild I lead, Café Solidarity. We're a PvE guild that does regular Fractals and has a Raids And Strikes (RAS) Training Group that meets weekly. Our RAS group is a training group, but we're very organized (Discord Aleeva bot sign-ups, detailed guidance on gear/builds, etc.). The RAS group has downed all Wing 4 bosses except Deimos and is also working on Wing 1 (starting Sabetha this weekend). They meet Saturdays at 1:00 PM Eastern, and there's also a Friday night event to explore gear/builds/rotations and try out new things in the Aerodrome. As for Fractals, one of our Baristas (our name for officers... play on the guild name, heh) is looking to start a regular Tier 4/CM group, and she's on the West Coast, too, so the potential times for that might line up nicely with you. For more info on our guild, you can check out our [recruitment post](https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/91141/na-pvx-cafe-cafe-solidarity-for-people-at-the-margins-e-g-bipoc-lgbtqia-disabled-more/p1) or visit our [Discord](https://discord.gg/rWTKRbP), plus you can view our [RAS Expectations](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfXtaWo8468sxIF-FQrft5FxvGWciAkqVwWsaOGvadfpUCOLg/viewform?usp=sf_link). (I also sent you an in-game mail, just in case!)

I've never done RP in an mmo, but am a pretty avid character creator/world builder/d&d player. Would love to chat character lore & stories with folks! > - a presence on discord for easier chitchat > > If any or all of our interests align, or if you have any leads for me, I'd love to hear from you! <3 Thanks for your time, and happy gaming! Hiya! Welcome back to Guild Wars 2! There's so many cool things to do in the game, and it's definitely more fun with a guild. From what you said, the guild I lead, Café Solidarity, might be a good fit. We are super friendly, social, and LGBT-friendly (I'm non-binary and many of our guild members are part of the LGBTQIA+ community). We're definitely not intimidating, and while we require 80% rep, that just means displaying our guild tag, and it has nothing to do with any actual time requirements, so that's no worries. We do mostly PvE with some WvW (currently spread across many servers but with some people congregating on Isle of Janthir and Crystal Desert), and we definitely do Fractals and Strikes! The only thing you might not be okay with is that we do accept all ages. Currently, we have about 120 people in the guild, and 2 of those are under 18. So... that's a pretty small percentage. =P We're also very creative! We are in the process of rebuilding our RP stuff, and we have an official RP origin story for the guild, plus lots of people who are also into character creation and world-building (and do D&D), so maybe you'd love chatting about lore with us! (We have a WIP spin-off Discord just for RP, where people have posted their character bios/backgrounds, and we're in the process of trying to figure out how to encourage/foster both Discord and in-game RP!) If you'd like to learn more about us, you can check out our [recruitment post](https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/91141/na-pvx-cafe-cafe-solidarity-for-people-at-the-margins-e-g-bipoc-lgbtqia-disabled-more/p1) or even stop by our [Discord](https://discord.gg/rWTKRbP) to read through some of the intro posts people have made or even DM me with any questions and such! I hope we hear from you soon!
  10. Hiya, MelonatorPL! You might be interested in the guild I lead, Café Solidarity. We're a medium-sized guild that does a lot of PvE game modes and some others, including sPvP and some WvW (mostly on Isle of Janthir and Crystal Desert). We have spontaneous events where people group up to have fun, and then we also have a full calendar of scheduled events, which you can see here: http://www.tinyurl.com/calendarcafe PvE events include World Boss Trains, Tier 1 & 2 Fractals, Dungeon Crawl, Guided Tour (map complete, Hero Point trains, etc.), Guild Missions, and even a Raids And Strikes (RAS) Training group that is open to all max-level people who want to sign up. If you'd like to learn more about us, please feel free to check out our [recruitment post](https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/91141/na-pvx-cafe-cafe-solidarity-for-people-at-the-margins-e-g-bipoc-lgbtqia-disabled-more/p1) or hop in our [Discord](https://discord.gg/rWTKRbP). And if you've got questions, please feel free to ask me here or message me in game or even on Discord. Best of luck in your search for a guild home! :)
  11. Hello! You might be interested in the guild I lead, Café Solidarity. We have a weekly scheduled sPvP event and people who enjoy grouping up together for that throughout the week. We also have a Raids And Strikes (RAS) Training Group that meets on Saturdays at 1:00 p.m. Eastern. They've currently downed all Wing 4 bosses except Deimos, which they're working on while also starting on Wing 1. And, in general, we have players who enjoy all manner of PvE content. :) If you'd like to learn more about us, please feel free to check out our [recruitment post](https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/91141/na-pvx-cafe-cafe-solidarity-for-people-at-the-margins-e-g-bipoc-lgbtqia-disabled-more/p1) or hop in our [Discord](https://discord.gg/rWTKRbP). And if you've got questions, please feel free to ask me here or message me in game or even on Discord. Hope to hear from you soon!
  12. > @"Alythara.7209" said: > Sounds like a nice guild, however I forgot to mention that I strongly dislike voice chat. I don't mind getting on to listen as needed for group stuff, but if that is the primary means of communication/activity, then I don't think it is the right fit for me. Thank you for the response, though! If that's the case, Alythara, you might be interested in the guild I lead, Café Solidarity. Currently, we only use voice chat for our Raids And Strikes (RAS) Training group, and people aren't required to talk if they don't want to. There's a group that does sPvP sometimes, and they hang out in voice at times, but otherwise, we use Discord text channels and guild chat as our primary means of communication. (There's more about that [here in our recruitment thread](https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/91141/na-pvx-cafe-cafe-solidarity-for-people-at-the-margins-e-g-bipoc-lgbtqia-disabled-more/p1).) We also have a group that dabbles in WvW, and they're on Isle of Janthir. They're very kind and friendly, so it's very low stress. We do require 80% rep (so, displaying our guild tag next to your name at least 80% of the time you're in game, not counting times when you're in WvW or PvP), but we don't actually require people to attend any activities or force people to do things with us. We have people who really like being in our guild, but they prefer to do their own thing a lot of the time, and they're totally welcome. Our events are posted in Eastern time, but many of us are in Central time, so that sounds like that would fit well. If you'd like to learn more, I'm happy to answer any questions. You can ask here (I'll try to remember to check!) or you can always message me in game or even DM me on [Discord](https://discord.gg/rWTKRbP) if you like. :) ~Jevati
