What exactly causes it is going to vary and range from something obvious, like a poor wireless signal, to something you might not expect, such as another game with anti-cheat software. It could potentially be caused by anything involved in your connection, or simply due to standard packet loss that you have no real control over, which could happen to anyone at some point.

    Do you know if there is a way to see which programs are using the internet? Sorry for asking this hehehe, I'm kinda newbie with this stuff.

    Why does this happen with Gw2 and not with other programs or games? It's the game a little weak at some conection or something?

    I don't know how to do that. Which doesn't makes sense cuz I used to play in a laptop then I'm playing on a PC. Same problem in both.

  3. Things that won't solve the problem:

    * Change ISP

    * Change router settings

    * Get a new router

    * DDU all driver and reinstall drivers

    * Updated drivers

    * Get a new graphic card

    * Windows 10 update

    * Update Windows drivers

    * Reinstall the game

    * Delete .dat and re-patched

    * Use -repair on gw2.exe

    * Use -windowed on gw2.exe

    * Connect through VPN

    * Open up the PC and give a vacuum blow

    * Update and get more RAM

    * Disable fire wall

    * Get a new anti virus

    * Get new processor

    * Use -clientport 80 or -clientport 443

    * Get support for Arenanet

    * Start the game as admin

    Didn't work.

    Why did you say that is an issue with my system? xD This error only happens with Gw2

    > The issue that you are reporting may be due to a problem with the DNS provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Please try the steps in the following link to override your current DNS settings and use Google's Public DNS: http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using.html.

    > In that box, type "cmd" without the quotes, and click the "OK" button. A DOS window should open.

    > Enter the following command and press enter: ipconfig /flushdns

I remember playing with a buddy that had massive lag spikes and disconnects,after a while of trying to help him with all sorts of different things i told him to try cable and it fixed all the issues he had. It's worth a shot eventhough the rest of your household doesnt have issues,your pc can.

    Already tested.
