I'd go marauder DH and slot a few extra condition cleanse for HoT maps. Those mobs are nasty!

Hope you guys enjoy, firebrand still viable and fun after those nerfs despite what _some_ people say. Still you can feel it got weaker, specially in outnumbereds.

Idk what's wrong with Devs. Why nerf f2? They nerfed the aegis and resistance on F3 and now no more healing? Just delete firebrand as a spec and give us another one, since you don't want us playing with the tomes which are the major sell point on this spec.
And what they got with spirit weapons? just leave them behind, they suck! Buff shouts, they were fun back in the day.

I was playing like this in open world until i swap to DH, which is muuuuch better, gotta give that.

That stats mix could work too, its all about what you feel comfortable with. Like myself, i like at least 17k hp and 2700 armor. Less than that and i am not happy. Just mix until you get what you are looking for.
About boon duration, imo, its definitely a benefit. As solo roamer you don't have anyone to back you up, no heals, no boon sharing, so you gotta be self-suficient. So you either go for a full dmg burst build, kill fast and win the battle, or go for sustain, which you have to provide alone.
With boon duration i got high uptime regeneration, protection and retaliation, and those are great for defense, also high might stacks that will make me end the fight faster. Only issue with boons is scourge, but that is just one spec out of many.

i use both build for roaming, solo or small scale, but i rarely small scale. Depends on my mud if i want go full melee or not. :)

you can play with a mix of valkyrie i guess or buy harrier with trade contracts. The insignia/inscriptions are like 5~8g in tp.

In my experience after nerf:
PVE: Dragonhunter way better and easier.
PVP: Hybrid FB since you can help on DPS. Full support is not as good anymore, specially when your team doesn't help.
WvW: I don't do zerg, but i roam everyday on Power/Hybrid FB and it works pretty well.

Yeah the nerf did hit us pretty hard, specially the ones running honor line like myself. I usually run meditations with greatsword build because its more of a burst build. I tried meditations several times but i just love mantras, idk why, untill i have to re-cast then, ofc. lol

Most of fights took place after nerf. Life is tougher but still fun. :)

Depends on which game mode you play and its solo/group/zerg/raid.

The issue for me is that they nerfed Healing AND aegis. Choose only one! Now if we get focused there isn't much we can do anymore. Also the extra 10 seconds on Elite mantra is awful, specially if you are fighting solo. Spellbreakers will eat you alive.

Yeah, Devs were not kind to us this time. I am cool with some nerfs to FB but not like this. They should get scourge and mirage on par with balances, yet, scourges weren't barely touched. This is a sad day for us, but we shall not give up! :'(
