  1. Most clears on ele can be conter by spam condis or auto attk conds. The best effects ele has for clears often take 2 or 4 condis at once and often they are on longer cd. Things like dimon skin and Ether renewal still are only cleaning one condi per "tick" most of the time the cover condi spam. A lot of classes are like this but a lot of classes have clears AND condi dmg -% or boons that counter condis effects.

     

    This is what ele is realty missing condi dmg -% not clears. Weaver is the perfic places to add this in too having barrier give dmg -% for condis when you have a barrier up.

  2. Its all power dmg and its block-able that is weaver at the end of the day as well as ele so its very lacking. They realty needed to make the burst skills on weaver to be unblock-able or at least add in a way to make them unblock-able. As well as more condis.

    You say there no favoritism but when you look at what necro has and will get from PoF i am getting the feeling that ele id of the aoe job is gone. Even in HoT necro got one of the strongest sets and PoF seems like its going to be even stronger (why a necro can hit 10 targets build in where ele at best has one maybe 2 skills that hits 10 targets and its know for the aoe class is comply beyond me.) I see some major favoritism in that and what ele gets is the "well its the gen class so it cant do any thing well" all though all the classes in the game have the abitly to do every thing to but they are not gen classes. The runes are a great example of what Anet thinks of each class elite spec etc.. ele oddly has power condi dmg tempest is all combo boons and weaver is all combo and condi duration. What is Anet even trying to say / do with this class is comply beyond me i have a feeling they do not know too.

    There already a lot of boon strip in the game all spellbraker and scourge are going to do is add to it to the point of no boons making hard cc lines and rings the end all be all effects in the game. Its going to be like the first time they nerfed stab where it was being striped too fast but now its going to be more about being able to hit 10 - 20 targets with the strips.

  5. If you make it a ground target effect or your only going to get use out of it when its more then one player or you perdition when they are going to stealth. You cant target stealth players.

     

    I missed the Evasive Arcana version too that would be nice to have.

  6. But dose the power from might effect the ferocity? The builder is very messed up for its numbers for the new classes effect so a lot of its numbers need to be taken with a grain of salt. Best to look at the builder atm for pure "look and see what you could build from the line" then max min your numbers.

  7. Wvw only split would be nice to see but it seems like it would be too much to have it comply balanced. Maybe a pvp / pve split is better where you have spvp and wvw balanced combined mostly spvp aimed and you have pve mostly raid aimed in its owned set up. There are simply some effects that do not work in raids and do not fit the balancing of raids in being so messes it up for wvw. Look at things like unblockable and croupstion to a lesser point boon strip and condi clears too all do next to nothing in raids but are every thing in wvw.

     

    It comes down to this wvw / spvp get more use out of skill divisively and effects raids / pve do not and the balancing for these game types need to reflect this.
