He's a grade A jerk so far and that while not looking like Balthazar's left foot. He seems to be the deceptive type, a guy of words and intrigue so far to me.

    not ugly but generic

the big bad brute charr bearing scars having witnessed a thousand battles, that´s quite generic.

    > It is _not_. Mike Z and the other devs stated at the beginning of the anniversary live stream that they are looking forward to at least another seven years of content (and beyond) that they are excited to share with us.

The devs of destiny said the same and provided a second game instead of 10 years of content for destiny.

Maybe we will get gw3 after all.

In pve it wouldn´t hurt either I guess, though this would be the chance to introduce Anet´s new beloved mechanic, penality-traits.

    > It's probably unbalanced enough that it doesn't work that way. If you avoid getting hit with the right traits/skills, you have a very good shroud uptime in Reaper, even with the higher decay coefficient.

    > I guess the answer you won't like is this: if Reaper isn't good for you in PVP, try something else. The goal isn't likely to fix that since a survey of all the classes demonstrates that all classes and their elite specs being good in all game modes isn't what Anet are after anyways.

Sadly even after playing every other class for 100h+, reaper is still my favorite class.

Though, in comparison, reaper is so gutted and held back, it´s astonishing, be it pvp or pve.

It´s absolutely not fun to play reaper on pvp, the day playing it in wvw were utterly painful.

Anyway, removing shroud´s decay was merely a suugestion, a trail of thought that I had for a while, although I do agree that it would be too powerful, reaper´s shroud is what made me play gw2 in the first place and now that it´s uptime is so limited, gw2 kinda lost its magic for me.

I just want it back for more than a few seconds.

  4. The alliance-system won´t fix anything, which wvw is currently suffering to.

Population can´t be balanced without ripping guilds and friends that want to play with each other, apart.

Rewards need to have some meaning and should require *reasonable* effort to aquire.

A good step in the right direction was the pip-system, how about a pass-system now ? Seasons ? Look what works for other pvp-games, to keep their players entertained and try to introdcuce it into the game-mode.

Though, despite having some hope left, it might as well be too late at this point, to change anything.

  5. When wow´s expansion warlords of dreanor launched, garrisons got a lot of hate and spite from the community, but I myself enjoyed them and think, that this concept should be used, alongside the typical features for housing.

Kinda like sunspear´s refugee but with less monotonous tasks/achievments and much more ties with the story.

Also it should reflect your past achievments, like the current home-instance does but it´s too static.

All in all, I would like to see home-instances scrapped and something like garrisons added.

Maybe someone remembers the overlord-series ? Re-building your own tower, filling it with followers and deciding its inside interior was quite motivating.

  6. I wonder how unbalanced it would be if reaper´s(necro´s) shroud no longer decreases over time, only damage done to it will reduce its life-force.

Of course, 15k health with 50% damage-reduction which doesn´t decay sounds strong on paper, but would it really that bad ?

Considering Anet´s refusal to give necro access to blocks, invulnerability, evades and the likes and nowaday with the increased powercreep, shroud only serves as a tool to soak up damage in pvp when focused. In pve it wouldn´t hurt either I guess, though this would be the chance to introduce Anet´s new beloved mechanic, penality-traits.

    -50% health but no shroud-decay.

    > And LS5 would be bad.. because? Other games release expansions? Doesn't make much sense to me. They've repeated that LS5 will be different and feature more expansion scale content. Couldn't care less how it turns out, it means the game goes on for at least another 2 years regardless. Time in which they can easily create an expansion.

On one hand, we won´t get content that has the scale of an expansion. I´m just stating this right here, based on disappointments in the past.

On the other hand, Anet will miss out on a new influx of revenue, which would have been guaranteed by selling an expansion.

In other words, GW2 will miss funds for the next years if no expansion is coming or no back-up plan is at hands.

    > Sadly its looking like thats a dead end. People said the announcement on the 30th is just S5. Well there go my hopes for an expansion.

Believe in the vanished gods that there will be more, have faith in absent joko, that they will deliever something great.

They still do want our money and I ain´t giving them that for free.^^

  9. Swtor will receive its next expansion soon, final fantasy´s third! expansion shadowbringer was a great success and wow might reveal the next expansion at blizzcon as well.

Now I have only high hopes for the 30th of august.

Show me that you still have vision, that you are still able and willing to compete with your competitors.
