OMG man you rule. That was the quest I was missing. How did you figure that out?

Yes, I did I got quite a few of them too.

  3. So I fired up the game after some time away. I was greeted by birthday presents which were nice. But I also got a lot of items as gifts only I can't use them. So now I have an inventory half filled with items that were given to me as gifts but I can't use them. So what should I do with all this stuff? I click use on all these items and get a message I can't use it lol.

  4. Whats the deal with all the event spawns? I just started the path of fire content and i had a quest to take out some cannons in a fort. That is hard enough but 3 events spawned right in the quest area and i got slaughtered. No other players were around at all.

As soon as ANET caved and started giving into that crowd, they immediately lost sight of their own vision for the game. This is the reason my friends and I no longer play it. If we wanted a data-driven, rotation-locked, mmorpg experience, there are plenty of other games to choose from.

Yup same thing happened with my 9 friends that started at launch. Everyone was so hyped about that vision which turned out to be a lie because all the players complaining it wasn't like Wow. So they just caved. Why i can't stand most of the people that play this game anymore.
