there's a diffrence between a yearly aprils fools event and some weapons/backpack skins (which don't look that bad) and giant polygonal animals bigger then your character.

ppl complain enough of SAB breaking the artstyle no need to go full tera

  2. dragons have been doing this longer then the gods have been around. the theory that the dragons and the gods are connected has been around ever since we knew there where 6 dragons and nobody has found a way to make it work

I don't get why people expect this, the era or sequel after sequel is mostly gone for MMOs, replaced instead with releasing one game and updating it as long as they can, which is potentially decades. Gaming is too young in history to say how long the longest games will last, but WoW is probably the best example at around 15 years old with no signs of stopping. So after dragons, villains will come out of the woodwork for all eternity as in most successful MMOs that last decades or however long. For all we know, they could last for a century (unlikely but you get my point)

they will probably do an engine port instead of a next installment if engine issues become to bad

  5. zhaitan dead

    s1:

then a crazy silvary had some fun for a while and woke up a new elder dragon (mordremoth)

during said rampage we met the characters you'll see at the end of pof story plus a grumpy norn and a charr

    s2

we're preparing to attack mordremoth and discover sylvari are his minions

    hot:

then we killed him and trahearn

    s3:

then the white mantel resurected lazarus but it turned out to be balthazar and put jormag and primordus to sleep

  6. a few critisisms:

    * a focus on boon corrupt, condi transfer and on death mechanics sound to much like necro

    * the treasure hunter f1 skill sounds like a steal without the shadowstep and nothing else

    * beast-master sounds to much like beastmastery

    * also the f5 sounds like it would be a nightmare to implement/balance

    * vanguard sounds a bit to much like a warr knock-off

you mean like the soul beast does (in a weird way)

Turns out that bargain hunters (e.g. me) like to wait for near-perfect values, while the Big Spenders are willing to spend big on a regular basis. That's why we have bargain Mountfits™ as RNG for 400 gems, and full-fledged Mountfits for 2000. And that's why the festival-themed Mountfit packages don't offer the skins individually, just in packages costing 2k.

it's better then the 'focus exclusively on whales' model
