This part is a good introduction to the mobs that are encountered in VB: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Echoes_of_the_Past Season 2 is also a good way to become familiar with the characters that were introduced in Season 1. You can do the history lesson in Lion's Arch after completing the core story, but Season 2 really helps to get to know them.
  2. One of my guildies and I play as Asura, use the miniturize tonic, then run around in open world to find boulders and then throw them at enemies. Along the way we wave at random players, and find beds to jump on. Sometimes we even do an event or two!

They probably want to be overly cautious and not ban legitimate players, so a botting report by itself is not something they can act on. > I suspect that for the most part, it probably isn't worth Anet's time to deal with it - they ban some accounts, those people create new ones, and repeat. The botters probably don't pay any actual money (convert to non-free account) until they have gathered enough stuff to make it worthwhile. I think Anet is very generous in what they allow on free accounts. As it stands, ftp accounts are limited to starter maps up to level 10, and Lion's Arch unlocks at level 35. Personally, I would take it further and make Lion's Arch at level 35 the absolute max, and make maps that provide access to materials above level 3 unavailable on ftp accounts. I know it would upset folks, but it would be one way to discourage players just creating new free accounts and continue to afk farm and/or botting.
  4. I don't understand why ArenaNet gets an idea in their heads and then insists we play it and like it. What if I don't enjoy strike missions? Too bad! You have to do them if you want to continue the story. What story??? There was no story. Ryland blah blah blah, Ryland blah blah, blah blah blah. Ugh. I am extremely disappointed in this episode, especially after Drizzlewood. Drizzlewood had good story that moved along, and then a fun replayable meta thereafter. Not so this piece of junk. I'm really disappointed in you, ArenaNet.
