My biggest gripe about BiP is its short radias for applying might to allies. Id like to see that increased. Otherwise with a condition transfer build it works well. (if the cooldown was a bit lower by a few seconds I wouldnt complain).

I don't think having more than 5 guilds is a good idea and that it should stay as it is. Firstly because this prolly doesnt affect majority of players. Second, it would put more strain on the servers having to keep track of additional guilds rosters and activities per player. Third, doing so could easily cause a snowball effect. Where would the new cut off be? It's 5 now.. if it were bumped up to 7, how long before people ask for it to be 10, then 15, then 20 and completely defeating the purpose of being in a guild at all. Players complain as it is how with even 5 guild options that each individual guild doesnt get the representation/participation from members as it would like and adding more will only make that point worse. Point in short, AN has to draw a line somewhere.

I'm planning on sticking with my Viper gear until i get used to the spec in pve better. Collecting Seraph insignias/inscriptions until expansion just in case the support side ends up being fun.
-
With several variables, (new elite specs, new gear stats, new types of enemies), i would hold off until after. You may end up with a better idea of how you want to gear and play afterwards.

I've gotten 3 chests over 7-8 runs so the drop rate is pretty good on those (for me anyway). boot and helm boxes tho, ive seen 1 boot box and 0 helms after more runs than i can count. Just seems like bad luck. Ended up just buying them to be done with the collection.

It would have been interesting to have smaller scale events like we see during the 3 lanes (free bats, collect crystals, help beetles etc) but scaled for 3-5 people in between campaigns, but its likely far too late to implement this. I agree with your suggestion, but with the next expansion on the horizon I'm fully expecting DS to get very little activity.

The first wardrobe unlock i got several months ago and it only amounted to a dredge weapon. The one from the 5th birthday is still sitting in my bank until I can unlock more items to narrow down what I MIGHT receive. Fool me once AN shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Its a mediocre present but at least it was free.

I wish i knew that answer to this as well. There are various posts saying how the remaining weapons are still tied to heart of thorns it can only be assumed they are created the same way. Just in case I stockpiled 3 gifts of maguuma exploration and 750 crystalline.

Finished the leystone armor collection and maguuma map completions, farmed crystalline ore for future legendary weapons, working on crystalline for the rest of the specialization weapons, finishing up on druid backpack collection, farming jade shards for seraph insignias/inscriptions and making sure my alts have enough hero points to unlock the first 2 traits of the new elites to unlock the new weapon collections. So.. yea.. I've had plenty to do.

Saving mine for Lunar New Year Festival.

Considering we do not know how much effort and/or time will need to be invested to get specialization weapons this time around, I would say it would be a good idea to make the sword to use until then.

I kind of like the new system for two reasons. It should save on inventory space and it reminds me of the old GW1 system where you had to identify gear using a kit to know what it is. In my eyes it doesnt add any additional RNG when ALL GEAR THAT DROPS is subject to RNG anyway. You kill an enemy it might drop loot, it might not. Is it a rare, masterwork etc. If its a plated weapon will it salvage into a plate.. RNG on top of RNG on top of RNG already exists. Lets give the new system a try and see how it turns out.

Only image I dont recall seeing before is the revenant looking sylvari. The asura in cultural armor, charr scrapper and chronomancer are several years old. But concept art can be taken with a grain of salt. The sylvari could be an early concept spellbreaker that just happens to be wearing mistward armor for all we know. I do agree with it being a dagger based on how its held.

Seems they are wanting player characters to be more involved in the goings on in the world. I can only assume this means things like gathering supplies, doing daily objectives, or addition of more limited time events. Events like Dragonbash, Queen's jubilee, are missed.

The bags within boxes within chests is ridiculous and just a lot of unnecessary clicking. I agree.

While perhaps not the most efficient, I got quite a bit of map currency doing hero point trains. Each combat hero point challenge gives 20 currency once per day per account after you've done it once before on that character.
-
It was a nice change and something I use every day. Tarir or Dragons stand metas give so much gear that mass salvaging saves a ton of time.
-
I keep a few rare weapons for mystic forging but most things tend to get fed to the silver salvage of matic. Things like rare necklaces get sold on the trading post as i have terrible luck getting anything other than just mithril salvaging them.

The level if the gear itself is the determining factor in knowing what items it will salvage into. A level 30 masterwork chest may salvage into cotton while a 55 masterwork chest into linen. So even beyond just leveling up characters the level of the gear itself does serve a purpose.
6 Days till pof. Whats the first thing u will do right after the button push?

Get my mains through the initial story to try to avoid the initial rush of players and unlock the mount, then go back through all of my alts unlocking the new specialization weapon collections.
