In an actual raid Condi Reaper isn't going to have the consistent chill fields needed for those kinds of numbers. You're going to have constant fire and other fields getting in way. Because the Developers never ever ever ever do anything deftly, they never adjust one or two skills then wait to see how it pans out and incrementally phase in changes and they certainly never compensate somewhere else. They just want the problems to go away so they overnerf every problem, ESPECIALLY when it comes to necros and figure they'll learn to live with it. As much as it's plugging my own posts on reddit, research and practical application of specific placement of combo fields allows for a 90% or more accuracy rating in terms of hitting your ice fields. After doing this on the dummy for 1 and a half hour I managed to get up from 22k to 26k, but there is no way I can pass that threshold. SOME guy who heard/read other guy from his guild (apparently qT) got 31k dps. No video, no info about buff used, nothing. People shouldn't post statements like this without a reliable source. Well if you read more into the thread, you'd see more. Also [qT] does the benchmarks. People in their guild know what they are doing when it comes to testing DPS.
