Wreckage nodes (Unable to gather)

What's up with some of the wreckage nodes in the new map? Some of them are on walls and structures and there's no way to gather from them. I've tried so hard on some of those, they are way too high or in gates and I never get the option to gather.

I've seen that too, and also maybe related (maybe not) is that I'm seeing not all mining tools work equally well with some salvage nodes. For example with the unbound mining beam, I'll sometimes be standing right next to the wreckage and the mining beam will shoot off into the distance and I get no supplies mined. It's almost like the visible wreckage is in a different location than the actual wreckage. But yet if I use the wardrobe to switch to a different mining skin such as the volatile magic mining pick, then it works just fine. It's very odd.

Been seeing this a lot. Wreckage nodes ending up inside the front walls of various locations. It requires a Dev to do some quality control and make sure that the possible spawn points aren't inside structures.

The nodes are broken in so many ways. If you try gathering them while a structure or enemy is nearby, it is possible that your target redirects to them and you don't mine the wreckage at all. Their spawning and targeting needs to be fixed.

What if the real bug is, that this nodes are drawn beside their real position? This would/could explain this strange position in the asura home instance and sometimes the strange positions, unabke to gather. But of course a dev has to look at this and they should know.

it's odd that they fixed the other home instances right away and they didnt do anything about Rata Sum one.

Yep, I can't target them at all when they are on structures, even when those structures don't need any upgrading. Here is an example where I completely upgraded the structure and the structure interaction takes 100% priority: https://imgur.com/a/BWxbVwP

Yes! that's the same one i saw when i decided to come complain here :)

I've noticed that the nodes do not work when I have any enemy targeted. Hope that info helps troubleshooting for the devs.

You'll notice that you're unable to equip/unequip gathering tools while mining or in combat, and that there's various bugs in the past related to swapping weapons while mining, this is because the mining tool replaces your weapon temporarily.

 

So if you have an enemy or ally targetted, it not only fails to work, but does all kinds of weird things.

 

But the nodes spawning in unreachable locations is definitely a problem.
