Visual upgrades

When a Charr in GW2 stands up to do the salute or crossed arms emote, they become closer to your first link, but that's about it for verticality when it comes to cat legs and a body with arms that long and a torso that beefy. That's why I'd suggest different stances as a solution, since a Charr technically _could_ stand upright, but drastically altering the shape of their spine would instantly make the rest of their anatomy look janky.

 

I imagine ArenaNet already considered all of this when designing the species, as evidenced by the bestial stance present in a lot of their concept art.

i never suggested them to switch over the stance, all i said is that ppl hold this back while lore clearly supports straight up charr.

better yet, charr standing up are always the leader of the packs which makes sense, in the animal kingdom bigger means higher rank.
