Mastery points needed for strike missions?

Hi there,

 

Im a experience fractal player who runs CMs daily. I recently got interested in strike missions. Before I do strike missions, is there any mastery point achievement(s) I need to complete?

 

Im planning to use my DPS gear recommended by the snowcrow website.

At least the first tier of the way finder one to unlock EMP is good. The Essence lines to minimize damage and get more loot.

You definitely want to have the icebrood saga masteries that are needed to open the chests to get the loot in the end. The energy ray that comes after it is useful too.

You actually don't need any mastery to do them, you still get the special action attack during cc bars even if you don't have the essence manipulation mastery. Although you don't get most of the rewards if you don't have them cause you cant open the chests
