Collection item - Tale of Judgement

Recommended Posts

On the first weekend of Path of Fire, I received two items from the Recitation of the Litany of Deeds collection: [Tale of Loyalty](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Tale_of_Loyalty "Tale of Loyalty") from the [Primeval tombs](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Ask_Queen_Nadijeh_for_military_support "Ask Queen Nadijeh for military support"), and [Tale of Judgement](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Tale_of_Judgment "Tale of Judgement") from the Vabbian [courthouse](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Maintain_order_to_help_the_court_reach_rulings_on_the_Vabbian_dead "Maintain order to help the court reach rulings on the Vabbian dead").

Not knowing what to do with them, I deleted both items. Later I realised I needed the items to complete the collection, so I repeated the events that dropped them. I received additional copies of the Tale of Loyalty, but no additional copies of the Tale of Judgement. To try and force another drop of the tale, I have tried:

* completing the event on additional characters, at least 5

* completing each of the 4 different events around the courthouse

None of this has given me an additional copy of the Tale of Judgement, preventing me from completing the collection entirely.

SAME! I've been going back and forth through my characters trying to find it on one of them, but it's not there and the events aren't giving me it. I must have deleted it. Dang hope it's fixed soon, been working towards completing all of the funerary achievements for ages. Funny that we're all having the same issue.

I can confirm that as well, just beat judge Ejele and Tale of Judgement does not drop again if you have lost the item.

Also according to Wiki only Judge Ejele and Sidan can drop it (tested recently and indeed Kulul drops nothing), which is a bit weird since the wording of the hint says:

"Defend Elonians from the whims of the High Judges in the Court of the Dead", you would expect the Tale to drop from any of the 3 Judges.

(Unless the wording is really precise and only the Judges IN the court drop the item ? Kulul event takes place outside)

I also had this problem at some point. Like other people mentioned in [this thread](https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/5856/potential-bug-recitation-of-the-litany-of-deeds-achievement-misplaced-accidentally-discarded "this thread") opening a support ticket (via the website not ingame/through the forum), will allow the support team to give you back your 'lost' items (they're pretty fast as well).

By accident (better to say lack of knowledge) I deleted my Tale of Courage. Then I tried to redo the junundu event on multiple characters - to no avail. I saw it reported in bug section on forums so I lurked the forum for 3 weeks to see if there was a fix for this - to no avail.

If you deleted "Tale of...whatever" open a support ticket for it. Anet support team resolved it _within 3 hours_ and a GM sent me the item in in-game-mail. Just make sure you categorize the ticket properly.

I must say, I did not expect such a fast response and I am pleasantly surprised.

So kudos to support team. Great and well done job!!! BIG THANK YOU.
